Might want to look up you history dude. Strum, Ruger & Co. Was not founded until 1949. At least you have the right gun a Ruger Standard Mk 1 (as far as I can tell). That all said sorry to say that pistol has nothing at all to do with anything German, it was based off a pair of Japanese Nambu pistols Bill Ruger purchased off a returning marine. And it has zero relation to the Luger pistol, look up the Nambu and you will see it has the same grip style that Ruger copied for his gun.
