Can't say the Ortiz stoppage was completely wrong. Ortiz threw 12 – 13 punches and Dawson showed zero wanting to get away from it or fight against it. Unfortunately, in today's world of boxing, that is a sign of "giving up". If Dawson had of even raised his gloves shortly in a "Rocky" move to say, "bring it on", that might have stopped that refs decision. But, he only shelled up and took too many punches and that just doesn't get it done these days.
