  1. U just have to learn to say no,No one will force money out of your pocket, many diaborans want to always want to impress people with money they don't have,

  2. What boggles my mind is these people are your so called family just sucking you dry even when you tell them you don't have the money, you hear oh see what you can do, most times they don't even ask how you or any of your family member is doing.

  3. So sad I’m ready to fail. I ve been working I even renovate family house. Thanks so much! A big lesson. Is never enough! I sent 2 off my brother to university but they can’t even ask if I need African food or so. I’m like enemy to some of them. I deleted some of them on my phone. Thanks 🙏

  4. that people for you . especially family members. they always think that people owe them something or money just for being their family . especially if you are living abroad. so you damn if you give and damn if you don't. but as you said in your video. one is better off pleasing him/herself instead of trying to please the world or family members. after all. the people back home got it well made. way better than we living abroad. so fuck it. i can only give what i got . or dont give anything at all. i am not the bank of charity . and am not trying to please anyone .

  5. Africans in Africa have brought into the fantasy of Europe and America. They don't know the economic reality. I have seen my African brothers and sisters work themselves to death in America. Like in the video, somehow they managed to survive and still managed to send money home. I have seen the families here in Africa with no short nor long term plan to help ease the economic burden off their relative providing relief. In fact, it opposite happens. The family finds more problems for benefactor that they themselves should solve.

  6. I learned from this the hard way, they used my hard working money against me for 15 years. I lost jobs and hot sick , but when I quit helping them things started to get better for me. Thanks for the video

  7. Im a black american and i love your content and i have nigerian friends abroad and they think im made of money. Ive sent zero dollars and dont plan on sending money because they dont understand in western countries it cost more to live snd sending money abroad can put you in debt quicker than u know

  8. Every where in Africa 😭😡😡 so sad being abroad or home ,they only come for money ,they never call to check on you or visit, they only come around when it is something to do with please help me do this and this worse part you should give them transport fare back😭😭

  9. So true thanks for telling the truth. Am from Liberia and this is so true for us. I had to learn my lesson the hard way. Thank God I learn to take care of myself first.

  10. A lot of people in 3rd world countries think we have it easy up here and that money grows on trees here in the US, UK and Canada.
I stopped over working myself trying to help family that don't want to help themselves. Often times they do NOT appreciate it and take it for granted!!

  11. Gosh my mum needs to watch this video. It’s good to give but ah ah take care of yourself. One day I was like I don’t have money o only 5$ to my name someone was like let’s share that 5$. Ahhh 😱 I was weak

  12. My take on this matter is be prudent. Listen to the man speaking yoruba, the deadman his family didn't kill him. What does IRS and family have in common? What does credit card debt, mortgage, owing people and family have in common, the answer is nothing. Don't blame family members for anything. When we live beyond our means, we are stretch beyond limit. It's the bitter truth. Check your earnings and plan accordingly. Many people living abroad are in this dilemma "rat race".

  13. But the problem with Nigerians is that they're so desperate to travel abroad that even uncles, Aunties and cousins join money to send them abroad. So he is like a debtor to them. I have heard about a case where a whole community taxed themselves to contribute money to send a young man abroad. So this kind of desparation should be discouraged, because a man like this is a debtor to the community.

  14. Does it mean that if he was not helping relations, he wouldn't have died ? There's free medical treatment abroad. My brother lives in U.K and my sister in U.S. they enjoy free medical treatment. What killed him is that he was careless about his health. Not the help he was rendering

  15. … the reality is put things in balance and perspective… I've had 12 holidays in 3 years … still help but with measured approach… i prioritise everything I can… and never regret what I cant…. this life is a one way journey… stop trying to please everyone…. my family lineage consist of over 2000 people… what makes you think I'll be able to please them all… look after number one…. namely you and your family…. everyone else is optional…. life is not short of friends… neither is it short of enemies or frenemies…. in my opinion… they'll choose where they choose to be …and get over it! … RIP to all the gone hustlers abroad… only we know the struggle…
