I m still not convinced he will be the best of his era at 100m but he looks really good at 200 and I believe that he can finish between 19,40-19,45 in Paris .
200 is the race i can't wait to see!
But Tebogo really looks like he has the tools to challenge for the 400 record, the way he finishes the 200m ,the power he showed at 300m the tradition of his country at 400m ,if he can't make good progress at 100m within the next 2 years i believe he should focus more on 200 and 400m.
Easyyyyyy he could go 18
Who's going to break a world record that anyone actually cares about. 300 meters was wide open but 200 meters isn't. I mean nobody's trying to run 300 meters.
• 100m – 9.88s (2023) opening almost like Coleman (go rewatch that WCs final, he was a little behind Coleman) and remember he ran a 9.91 pushing only 80 out of 100 meters… lol
• 200m – 19.50s (2023) closing on Lyles like a train, even more powerful than Fahnbulleh (who cannot close on a prime Lyles, but Tebogo still managed to get this)
Oh and… African Record…
• 300m – 30.69s World Record this season, nothing to say (even tho unofficial distance)
• 400m – 44.29 PB and WL also this season with idk how much preparation…
He's still only 20 (21 at June) he's gonna make history! Idk how and in what distance/s but he has a lot of potential.
He also broke 20s over 200m last week jogging the turn like prime Bolt joggs the quarter finals at WCs…
Yes I am his fanboy!
Simbine also once destroyed Justin Gatlin
Why is watching people run & win so exciting! Some people like basketball or football, but for me its always been track and field. I can’t wait for the next few months 💯
If relaxation was a person😂😂😂😂
He was literally jogging the first 100, and even in the second 100, he still wasn't going all out. This kid is going to break the world record in the 200m and 400m for sure, and possibly even the 100m, and in time, once his body full matures, he will set records that won't be broken for a very long time.
This was his fourth fastest time in the event ever, as his season opener in March. If he has a similar progression as last year, this continues to foreshadow some amazing things.
he's the next usain bolt
This guy is just fantastic. My favourite sprinter last 2, 3, yrs. But remember, this is run on the south african hiveld, so at altitude. But the fact he took it so easy first 100m, almost cancels out the advantage of altitude. Roy b Cape town, south 🇿🇦
