Even if a very few people who broke out on 7 October had been related somehow to UNRWA this would NOT warrant stopping support for UNRWA. The character of ANY organization with 32000 employees must be expected to have some persons with particular characteristics, it would obviously be grossly UNFAIR to generalize from some very few persons to the whole organization.
Why is UNRWA in the defensive? Why do givernments react to accusations from one side but unsist on due process from the other?

I've seen the videos of the actors crying over babies and children being killed then not realising the camera is still running and she is smiling at being congratulated by one of the cameramen!!! As an UK citizen, ask your self, why you should work hard 5 days a week to get one day off to get to the beach like this! while others get 1 billion "aid" money a year and tons of free food, have ~50% unemployment and can make it easily on the beach! Because UNWRA shouldn't even exist. UNRWA depends on Palestinian refugees for their jobs so it's in their interest to perpetuate the problem. Proof is how overstaffed they are: the real refugee agency, the UNHCR, is doing good work worldwide with 2/3 of UNRWA staff.

Israel is nothing special. They are no better or worse than any other corrupt and sinful government, nor are they any more or less sinful than any other peoples on the earth. “No prior concerns about UNRWA’s staff”. Is that a joke? Search “UN Watch for evidence”. It has been known for years that unrwa, though it helps with basic needs, it also promotes Islamist politics in support of war against Israel, not a peaceful 2 state solution
Perhaps it was only 12, perhaps many more who have yet to be identified. But those 12 have still done an enormous amount of harm. And they are right about the definition of "refugee", I believe that no other organization in the world recognizes the 2nd or 3rd generation of descendants of refugees as refugees themselves, this is unique to UNRWA. One must ask why. And are they really "refugees" when they are still living in Gaza, where they were born? That defies the definition of the term "refugee" (and frankly, is a slap in the face to those who really are refugees). Really, they are certainly victims of Hamas, their ruling government, but they are not "refugees".
And one more thing, I have watched many Al Jazeera reports, and one thing I am consistently noticing is that AJ are not exactly fair handed or impartial, which is unfortunate from a large organization. It seems that the Qatari govt might have more influence over them than just funding.

The West have a collective punishment syndrome. They are ok with killing everyone in Gaza because couple guys attacked Israel. Now they are stopping funding because Israel said a couple workers were involved in the attack on Oct 7th. Collective punishment all the way – the West mantra. 3) As such Israel had every right to declare war on the state of Gaza not just Hamas, by the rules of war and the Geneva Convention
4) Under the rules of war and the Geneva convention Hamas by using public and private institutions: hospitals, schools and homes to launch and hide weapons has made those structures legitimate war targets. This further extends Hamas’s activities within the entire Gaza region giving Israel the moral right to strike anywhere within Gaza and any structure
Under the rules of war and the Geneva Convention Israel has every right to continue until the Israeli demands for a peace settlement on their terms are fulfilled. That includes denying the entry of aid and material to the aggressor which is the state of Gaza. This is no different than the unconditional surrender demanded by the Allied powers from Japan.
Let's be fair here, the problem isn't that UNRWA employees are pro-Hamas or pro Jihad and are biased. They are Palestinians living in Gaza. That's natural. The problem is that the UN is doing word-laudnring, treating UNRWA as if they are an impartial member when it comes to reporting from Gaza, when it comes to the ICJ etc. While the UN purpose is to provide aid, it is also expected of it to make a positive influence towards peace and reconciliation. Instead their agency actively perpetuate the conflict. Shame on you and this news channel for treating the audience like idiots. Countries should be able to contribute to the Palestinian people without supporting war and jihadist ideology. You want to support jihad? Starve.
