  1. Children of shame are the offspring of people sentenced to death in China. This documentary shows the lives of these innocent children who are shunned by society and their benefactor over the course of two years.

We are hopeful to bring a follow up on some of these kids who are grown ups now. We will keep you posted.

  2. Outstanding documentary. Beyond angelic for the sacrifice and dedication to Mrs. Zhang for her hard work. For the children past present and future, take care and none of this burden should have been placed on your tiny shoulders.

  3. I worry about what happens when the cameras aren’t around. Who knows what hard labor and punishment they are giving the children. No one is accountable and watches out for them. China is notorious for illegal organ donation and trafficking

  4. the part when they showed the dad seeing his kids before being killed hit home because my father isn’t being sent to death but is serving a life sentence and for a big chunk of his time he wasn’t allowed visitation due to his security risk. and i just know he feels the same as the father here not being able to see his kids.

  5. The way that little girl told about her father and mother my heart break 💔 😢 each n every rule are made by we own human being for hurting ourself n other too… mistakes happen in life but forgiveness is heaven in my thought. There should be forgiveness in every mistake to change qs we r human being we learn from mistakes…to honest i perfer to forgiveness rather than end of life 😢😢. It is clear that they will leave the world the ones who live will suffer whole life 😢😢❤

  6. That prisoner has to say he is treated well if he wants to find a place for his kids to be taken care of. Why did the mother abandon them; it was her husband not her children that got in trouble.

  7. Can we discuss about the problem of domestic abuse that's so prevalent in China..
two women in this video got k*lled by their husbands..
It's terrifying. In china patriarchy is so rampant,if a woman got beat by her boyfriend or husband on the street in broad daylight,no one will help. Even the woman's family don't usually help especially in rural areas cuz they think husbands have the right to beat their wives

  8. What a sick sick country that punish children for the “ crimes” of their parents😢
Nobel Prize for this woman. Bravo, she’s like the hands and feet of Jesus 🙏🏾
    This is real love !!!

  9. Sadly, the Chinese do not live in a democracy so they will likely be stuck with the laws such as we see here, for many generations to come…Dictators are relentless in making a show in public of those ppl that break their laws

  10. Terrible to tag defenceless children as shameful. It wasnt the childrens fault that their parents die whatever they did. That grandfather 💞💞 the.ppor grandmother 💔💔💔
Please look after this lady shes beautiful 💞💞🙏🙏

  11. Thank you. This is my third viewing. I see and hear new things each time. Everyone who watched this film knows there are many more young men and women living in similar circumstances
