There are a lot of problems ghana movie industry is facing and the real problems are time management, attitude, technology, investment, rules and the system.
Every system changes with time and run by technology. New things are coming always and you need people with vision, masterminds, futuristic character that can plan things ahead of time. Some people see things coming from the future before it arrives. Only few people plan their lives 5 to 10 years ahead but you guys do the same boring thing every time, everyday and get the same results.
Our attitude is one of the problems because without good attitude towards work productivity will drop and everything will go worse eventually. There are too much scandals, silly quarrels, disputes, hearsay, gossips, reports, lyings, common talks and rumours in the industry. A lot of bad attitudes and no one is doing something about it.
They lack good characteristics of a good industry. Every attitude you put out out there significantly affects the productivity of any work.
Of course technology keeps changing and this shouldn't be a problem as you guys are saying and crying about. You guys need to embrace new technology and adapt to it. Stop complaining about cassettes, CDs and decoders.
Now we are technological revolution, in order to survive, old industry like your (kumawood) need to ensure they take advantage of these new opportunities to improve their business, products and services. If you don’t, newer and more consumer friendly options will be chosen by the customer(Ghanaians). They are now changing, every house uses smart phones, tablets, advanced televisions and laptops.

Change is inevitable not only in life but in business too. As long as the people and the technology are progressing, so should the businesses or work around them. the UK has the third largest filmed entertainment market in the world, but they lack in investors as well and it a major problem everywhere. Kumawood is very important industry, the actors, actresses, filmmakers, producers, individuals, and governments should invest their money and grow the industry. We the Africans dont take things seriously until some from somewhere comes and take the business as his property and give only Few percentages to you the hardworking people, the beginners and the old starter until you take things seriously. This what Disney is doing in America, taking charge and owning everything.
And every movie they make hit billion dollars.
Because they make proper use of the technology, time,the filmmakers and production. You kumawood should invest in yourself, open channel individuals can invest in your business. You guys don't even have a place to make movies and you called self a movie industry. Come together and do the work

There is less unity in the movie industry. We don't allow other tribes to express themselves in their own culture or language. It always one way and lots of long scenes full of insults and excuse me to say unnecessary drama and stuff. I agree with Bediako and the woman between the two men. If you disagree check all the popular movies or music, they are all popular because it involves people from different backgrounds. Example Efiawura, you will get people from all tribes. Whereby, everybody can relate or feel represented. There should be unity too. We as Ghanaians should learn to be happy for other people's success. We are all one Ghana and one Africa!
