  1. Bought a pair of tafts boots years ago. They were very pretty but leather was cheap and hardware was no good. Several eyehooks came off within a few months. They were pretty gor a bit though, maybe theyvupped the quality but i don't see how as price hasnt gone up that mich.

  2. I’m a fan of the look of Taft boots. There’s always a place for these styles. I’d definitely like to see how they’re constructed. 👍

We have a similar company here in the UK called Jeffery West, but they lean heavily towards a rock style. They appear very well made the same way Taft do.

  3. reminds me of curtains. I just I couldn’t do these not even if I was given them for free. I’d sooner give them to someone else they are ugly.

  4. I think it'd be really cool for you to do a review of the Taft model 007 so you could talk about the history of monkey boots and maybe compare it to more expensive versions

  5. I have three pairs of Taft now and absolutely love them. They also do a full custom order where you design ever part of a piece of footwear. Really really happy with them.

  6. I was looking into OTF knifes after your previous video with the semi clear scale. Apparently the livewire is extremely well regarded, and people struggle to justify the microtech over the Kershaw. The only valid points I saw was microtech has more service history, and has more variants. But they both have great steel, actions, fit and finish, and both are MITUSA. I've handled microtechs and the livewire and I'd have to agree with their reviews. So I walked home with the livewire.
