I find it surprising that there is almost no demand for Hamas to stop using civilians as shields, free the hostages and to lay down its arms, and to surrender. If Hamas had done this, the conflict could have ended a month or six weeks ago. Yet, it seems that no demands are being made of the aggressor, while the victim faces numerous demands. How can this situation be justified?
