The Security Council ceasefire resolution was a call on both Israel and Hamas, so if Hamas does not comply neither need Israel. The call for the immediate hostage releases was only to Hamas. So the 2 calls by the Security Council are not mutual, but of course nobody expects Hamas to comply.
Let the Security Council call for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and see who will veto it.
