The Ease of Doing Business right now in Uganda is very attractive. What Uganda needs now is Foreign Direct Investment(FDI), even if this could later be converted to Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI)The present government of Gen.Museveni is taking every economic measure necessary to stimulate the economy and provide jobs for Ugandans.Gen Museveni recently launched the Wealth Creation Program. So far there have been some evidence-based success stories about this program. Also in a bid to provide jobs for Ugandans ,Gen Museveni led to the revival of the East African Economic Community. Also it is on record that Uganda recently recorded a surplus in its Balance Of Payment account with the EU.So EU should consider FDI as a way to boost employment in Uganda.
