Uganda, Egypt celebrate athletes’ success at Paris 2024 Games

Ugandans and Egyptians are buzzing following the exploits of their compatriots at the Olympic Games on Friday. Uganda’s world record holder, Joshua Cheptegei won the men’s 10,000m in an Olympic record time of of 26:43.14 while Egypt defeated Paraguay on penalties to advance to the semifinals of the Olympic football tournament.
