  2. Honestly didn’t enjoy my stay, it was really overwhelming. All the research I did before the trip led me to believe Tunis was comparable to Greece, Italy or such but it totally was not. Not sure if I explored the wrong parts but I saw some heavy shit. Tons of garbage on the street, everything looked dilapidated, dead animals on the street, saw a Mom pulling her daughters hair and beating her in public, homeless mother and daughter living in a cardboard box and virtually saw no tourist. The vibe there was super heavy. Not sure if I’m just a pampered pooch but holy smokes that place was crazy. I’ve been to several developing countries before but I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. The thing I liked about it was how truly nice the Tunisian people were. We experience so many acts of kindness and generosity by the Tunisians. Honestly don’t know if I’d recommend this place. There wasn’t much to do.

  3. I and my friend Ifti just came back from the tour of Tunisia and loved it. People are very friendly and courteous. Hammamat a city on the Mediterranean Sea with its sandy beaches and crystal clear sea along with its historical Fort was brilliant. Tunis with its old city of A-Medina with its 1000 years of bazaars, historical and religious institutions together with its modern and colonial buildings are fantastic. Sidi Bou Said with blue and white villas and modern architecture with tree-lined streets is quite enjoyable. Sousse with its sandy beach and Al-Medina city bazaars is fantastic. El Jem with its Roman Colosseum is mind-boggling. Khairwan has more than 1000 years of history of Muslim presence with its Al Medina walled city and its winding streets with fantastically preserved old houses selling gorgeous and colourful carpets, rugs and shawls. 🎉🎉💖💖

  4. Went on holidays twice. Very exciting people and civilization. I enjoy a lot. But with the new legislation coming against my kind ( Jew). I am sad and afraid to go back there anymore 😔

  7. Very nice review, Tunis is really special and as tourists we explored Tunis on our own and it was great experience, lot of places to see, amazing history everywhere, many of different styles, good street food and of course – friendly people of Tunis.

  8. Absolutely loved this tour of Tunis! The city's rich history and diverse architecture are captivating.
From the ancient medina's bustling bazaars to the elegant colonial-era buildings of the new town, every corner has a story to tell. And those mosaic collections – breathtaking!
Thanks for this wonderful virtual journey. I'd love to explore in person someday. Cheers! 👍
