Harris would be better for the US in terms of a competition with China. China is increasingly worried about the alliances and relationships the US has managed to build with ASEAN countries over the past four years under Biden. Biden and Harris have also worked tirelessly to stabilize relations between Japan and South Korea which is seriously disadvantageous for China. They're going to be facing tariffs regardless of who's the US president, but under Trump, at least they can count on the US being isolated in the world.
