He was speaking as new laws to boost army recruitment come into effect.

Prisoners will now be allowed to join, and fines have gone up for men who ignore the order to fight.

Ukraine’s forces are short on weapons and are…

  1. As long as they force people to go to war, all those so called "soldiers",either they are russians or ukrainians, are nothing else but murdered innocent people, both by Putin and Zelensky.

  2. I always have been pro-Ukrainian. But "fines" to avoid conscription during a invasion are equivalent to draft dodger bribes – rich people can afford to pay money to avoid fighting, poor people can't afford to pay. Zelensky may not be the leader Ukraine needs in the end. He's too cozy with neoliberal corruption

  3. Christians should face the world with radical mercies and extreme love, without any violent intentions. In Russia, a short and apparently mildly autistic middle aged man, who's globally famous as a serial killer, yses the church under his dictatorship for the opposite purpose, even shilling that the sins of de facto terrorists are absolved so long as they sign up to kill innocents in a silly campain to destroy invisible Nazis and conclude a self justifying defence against victims of Russian agression. Though the man would laugh at the notion, I'm sure, Jesus condemns him and the church falsifies his legitimacy paradoxically. Unlike Hitler, Putin cannot rely on rejection of a Jew Jesus and the embrace of German mysticism to replace Christianity, so he must be impaled by his own self righteousness doing as he is, muddering people privately and threatening the world with the death of everbody

  4. It's never enough for Zelenski. When Obama was President in the middle 1990s. He was asked about America escalating the tension between Russia and Ukraine. By America getting more involved. Obama understood that Russia, on the Ukrainian border, would always be able more than match whatever the West sends. It was a conflict that Ukraine would never win. No matter what they sent there. Sadly for Ukraine, they replaced Obama with idiots who didn't understand that basic fact. Ukraine will be destroyed – unless it finally comes to terms with Russia. Even with Western aid. There's no question about its fate.

  5. In my opinion, the media and people in general are wrong about putin . He has not miscalculated this war. Since he took power after the fall of the soviet union he knew the cost of losing so much land and borders. Not to mention, russia has enough man power, resources, and motives to continue this war and defeat the ukraine. America will not only continue to fund the ukraine but Taiwan when China attacks. The ukraine will be depleted of options. Russia will walk in and claim the territory within a few years. The borders drawn by the end of 2030 will be a interesting.

  6. Putin should let go of the people he holds hostage along with his clentch on power, he says there'll be no world without Russia but he does the most to risk its existance, as though threatening to kill the population of the world openly is worth a randsome. That makes him possibly the most prolific global terrorist in history, like Lenin "the NEP will not put and end to terrorism, we wilp return to terrorism and it will be economic terrorism". His power is a false economy and his activities have been degenerative and consumptive in office, he sells the spoils of wrongdoing and delivers only greater levels of domination over an increasingly isolated Russian public who are sacrificed at will of his artifices as state dictator

  7. There's a little hole in the Russian mind that Putin walks through, and they've been incredibly simplified by way of having a hole in their heads for a faceceous old man to exercise subversive non-sense beyond nausea and infinitely. Putin has simplified the Russian mind and made them inferior

  8. Wait a sec, if Zelensky isn't an elected president anymore, due to lack of election, even though the constitution prohibits elections in war time, does that mean anything Zelensky says or signs means nothing?

  9. Goodness, some of the comment on here. Of course morale is low. Two years of intense war conditions will do that to any military force, and they know there is no end in sight. It is not as if any of them wanted war, they are fighting a defensive war. And the promised help does not materialise. They are fighting on shortages of everything. Zelenskiy is being open about this and must be hoping that governments elsewhere can see the urgency. Meantime Russia is conducting nuclear manoeuvre exercises on the Ukranian border as if war is just a game, while still pushing people into a brutal war zone.

  10. Ukrain is full of money hungry nazis, wake up America!!
Russia cannot be defeated on their own territory even with 100% of America’s backing. That said, I do not want to send any more money and I know they’ll ask for soldiers soon, get Trump into office ASAP!
