Didn't start shooting professionally until I was 37. I used to travel internationally with 2 Mamiya RZ bodies, 4 lenses, 2 Pentax 67 bodies, 2 lenses and sometimes a Sinar P2 with lenses. Tripod. A case of film and polaroid. Usually I traveled with an assistant so manageable. Every once in a while a client would have a smalll budget and it would be just me traveling and then just the Mamiya gear. Just this month I was talking with a client who needs some shots in Mexico and the nightmare of traveling with gear came back in a rush. So I tried out the FX3 (for motion) and my GFX100II this week to see if it might be able to pair down my regular kit.

That bag cost a fortune.
I used to carry 4 lenses and a full-frame camera, but I was planning to buy another lens at that time. Eventually, it felt too late, and hauling all that heavy gear became exhausting. In the end, I sold everything and switched to the A6700 with just 2 lenses—one for low light and the other a zoom for daytime. Done haha
At 20 I'll have my phone, my A7 iii and no lense because no money left
