  1. Thank goodness I already thrift at Plato's Closet and Buffalo Exchange. I'm not taking any new clothes to Liberia 😂. Thanks for all the tips Lulu!

  2. Ok, so thank you so much for all this info! My 1st trip is this May. I wanted to know about getting my hair braided there rather than before I go. Do you have any recommendations?

  3. I think all these happens in most African countries. I recently visited Ghana 🇬🇭 for vacation from the U.S. The extortion started the moment i arrived at Ghana airport. One of the so-call security ladies give me some bs story about my yellow book not being up to date and they were gonna send me back. I ended up giving her $50 to get through to the next checkpoint. SMH. The driver that was arranged to pick us up from the airport ti the hotel charged us $35. Everyone that helped us at the airport i had to "bless" with a little something. The lady that showed me where the restroom was asked me to "bless" her. Then the thing is they dont value u.s. dollar bill if its not $5 or more. One of them laughed and give me my dollar bill back. LOL. When we went to Labadi beach someone stole my really cute slippers within few minutes of turning my back. My fiance warned me because hes more familiar with that culture but i was too hard headed. Even though there was alot of scamming and extorting going on, i still enjoyed my stay in Ghana except the hotel. (Thats another story). I would definitely go back to Accra again. My next trip will be to Liberia 🇱🇷 (my own country). Im looking forward to eating some gari yorka from the street 😊

  4. OmG I love your video. It just pop up in my feed. Love your content and thanks for the information, I want to travel back home it’s been 20 years since I was home so this information was really helpful ❤️

  5. Instead of taking anything to eat, I am considering eating the local fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and fresh seafood. For example, a meal could include fish, mixed vegetables with cassava. What are your thoughts on that?

  6. I learned my lesson 😌 next time I definitely take $100 and break it down I was so crazy giving each person either $20, or 50s bills 😁😂😂 by the time I knew it my money decreased.

  7. Im a Jamaican and i went to Liberia for the first time in December 22 and i watch all your videos before going and i still was surprised at the airport i went through at least 4 different checkpoint and at everyone they ask me for money. When i was coming back it was the same thing. Everything in this videos is definitely true i didnt get that yellow book i just give them small money and they let me go. Prices at the grocery store was way more then we pay in the u.s. i brought cup noodles and it taste like soap 🤦🏾‍♀️ it was definitely a different experience for me cause i been other countries and never experience these stuff. But i enjoyed myself and would love to go back and stay longer then 2 weeks. 1 thing you forget to mention i stayed in the city and every night the police set up a check point on the main road just to ask for money. As long as you have money you will enjoy lib lol
