I have been to Kakum twice and once to the crocodile sanctuary. Both are so awesome. I can't wait to come back to Ghana ❤️

People in the Western world love rainforests like this! We study them in class at school. Rainforests are very important for regulating the world climate and they have lots of very interesting animals, insects and plants in them. The world treasures rainforests because they are more precious than gold and you are lucky to be able to visit a rainforest whenever you want to! Do most Ghanaians know this? Wow, Stella I am happy for you.

I remember your first visit to Kakum and your overnight stay. I visited in 2016 but it was on a Saturday and so was crowded with noisy schoolchildren lol. Wonderful place, the sheer size of the trees and atmosphere are unique. Ha I too wore open shoes and got bitten by ants on the walk back down the hill lol – great vid Stella
