@warpig50

Yes the spiritual leaders blamed it (drought and lucusts/rinderpest) on the British but that was not really the issue- The issue was the British broke the system of tribute that would have allowed the Ndebele to tax other tribes, do raids, and thereby alleviate the drought. It was both political and spiritual.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
– Romans 3:23

And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
– Jeremiah 29:13

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
– John 3:16

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
-Acts 3:19

If you’re in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: PCA, OPC, Rpcna, Urcna, or a Canrc church
(These are conservative and actual Reformed/Presbyterian churches)

If you’re Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC.
(Different from the Church of Scotland)

If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England.
(Different from the Church of England)

Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it’ll show you locations.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
– Hebrews 10:24-25

@marciamenage931

Without Jesus she cannot be saved.

41:20 Pffffft 😂

Pagans.

All I see is proof that Decolonization is Not Always to benefit to people.

@franks9759

As a Rhodesian who left the country in 1980, I found your video refreshing but sad given the decline in the society, the loss of the the grand old buildings. It brought back some memories I had forgotten about over the years. The Cairo club, once had a disco inside. It was heartbreaking to see the old Bulawayo Rail Station in such a bad state of repair.

@ieatrainbows095

@lucasramudo8738

No way you got to meet John Edmond, you’re such a lucky guy

@franktupelo5366

It seems that this "Soy Champion" arrogantly jerks off to the past of the British Empire (now a degraded country without a future with idiotic prime ministers), in fact, the dumb head doesn't tell you a lot – why politicians had such and other decisions and under whose influence they made it (USA, financial funds and foreign advisers, etc.). I will say that the difference for the local population is – in British governance they were slaves and propertyless, just part of the flora and fauna, they were not even considered people. Now Zimbabwe is a country rising from its knees with a huge number of problems, but people are slowly starting to call themselves people and residents of their country. This dumb cabbage in a suit, cut off by BBC propaganda, cannot comprehend this.

Free Rhodesia

@matthewnesbitt4857

Was there any appetite for the farming families to return? If the people were still willing to come back with their kids and grandchildren, with protections… Would they even want this if they could get the tax income and stabilise currency?

@christopheradam3588

Is that North Korean music?!

@harrycharlton7711

I am an old (as ell as past ha ha) Rhodesian and then South African citizen. Truly this is the most accurate and honest assessment of the two countries in past and present times. Sadly the prospects for both country populations are not good. Both are PR of China / Russia colonies. Australia and Canada welcomed the qualities and skills Zimbabwe and South Africa truly needed. As a point of interested I returned to RSA (when Mbeki was President and Zuma Deputy) as a contracted Chief Finance Officer of the South African National Parliament. New systems I and my staff introduced established that 435 then past and present MPs, including 3 of Mbeki's cabinet, had defrauded the institution (Travelgate) of USD35 million (over the 15 months we looked at). Obtained 50+ admissions of guilt / convictions then got terminated because I would not follow the instructions of the newly appointed Secretary (Dingani) to drop the matter (Soviet style hearing). Dingani was himself being investigated for a ZAR90 million naughty by the Scorpions (who were done away with by Zuma). Zuma has not been brought before the courts for the Arms Deal etc scandals because he claims he can demonstrate Mandela and family benefitted significantly. Again great commentary albeit sad considering the majority of the population were wellfed and races integrated well when it Rhodesia.

@Thurman321

At 45:28 that is a steam traction engine, used for running threshing machines and other equipment, like log sawing, plough pulling, etc. Similar to a train, but not quite the same.

@debunk2462

the undertone racist remarks suggest youre kindof bitter on how the rhodesians were kicked out lmao…you say they found low stone age tech black africans in the early 1900s which is completley FALSE.thnk god thy got kicked out…rather have our freedom in the dark thn clean the oppresors arse under floodlights. its tht mentality of white saviour tht they wouldnt allow and thnk fuck they didnt.

@woodstockwoodstock2116

Good job on all. Visited in 1994 and was shocked by the decay in your vlog. The main roads between major centres were still in good shape. The race course was there. There was not much construction but things were maintained to a large degree. Very sad comment on the father riding the trains back in the day. I wonder what happened to Rhodes train carriage though it has to still be in Bulawayo? Small thing but the saddest comment for me was the miniature train. I have a vivid memory of a middle-aged white guy in overalls and giggle hat sitting astride the engine and piling on the steam. It was a beautiful piece of engineering and I was surprised, at the time, it had survived. The park itself was very pleasant and kept — in 1994. Enjoyed your footage. And I remember all Freddos looking like the chocolate frog from Zim but wrapped in silver foil. All things must pass but the current version of a Freddo is just sad in and of itself.

@CollinsMuskwe

Kkkkkkkk…….this guy is pathetic. Trying with great effort to denigrate Zimbabwe by showing only negative issues and glorifying Rhodesia. As if the Western world and any other country in the world, does not have bad issues. Of course there are plenty beautiful places, sceneries and good people in Zimbabwe. This racist must get over his Rhodie nostalgia that gave only a few people good life. We are all humans and deserve decency and respect. The present and future is and will always be Zimbabwe. Get over it mate!!
Racial and tribal politics has always been an albatross on Zimbabwe/Rhodesia's neck. The refusal to accept and tolerate different people and their divergent view has been our major downfall as a potentially great country. The country needs to move on and rid itself of these nostalgic dinosaurs, currently ruling and those dethroned. Maybe, and just maybe we might have a chance to a decent life for all citizens.
One love❤

@clarke.v.5020

Opening song name please?

@Q1million

Destroyed and South Africa is slowly following

@draganserdar8140

Are you ministry of foreign affairs of Rhodesia 😂

@dreamdiction

This is your third most popular video and it's only three months old.

@sgtproper

Tho whole thing with the sweets and change is hilarious, because in Czech Republic where I'm from, one of the Co-operative shops, whilst accepting food cheques (a gov-subsidised employee benefit), wouldn't let you leave them change if you bought stuff with them and "overpaid", so you would have to get the sweets as well… lol

@anonymousAJ

"he doesn't have a fridge, he just has a cold room"
it's called a walk-in fridge (or freezer)

@ricardosouza3119
