According to this movie i blame the dad. There's no way he could've for years not been able to tell that lunatic daughter of his of her mother's dieing wish. A child can't and shouldn't be allowed to dictate uptil that extent.

But you’re a God sent to soften our stone cold heart. I’m actually getting well along with my wife and kid seeing and learning from your romantic nature. By the way how did you get that attitude were you not beaten with rod and thick nepa wire by your parents when your were a kid cos that’s how our generation was trained.
