Top UN court issues ruling: ICJ orders Israel to end its Rafah offensive

The UN’s top court has ordered Israel to ‘immediately and effectively’ end its military offensive in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah. The ruling was issued as part of South Africa’s genocide case against Israel. The International Court of Justice is also demanding Israel open the Rafah land crossing with Egypt to allow lifesaving aid to get into…

  1. The UN should now order immediate crippling sanctions on Israel as they failed to act on January's order from the ICJ. If this does not work then UN peace force should be sent. The veto of US, UK several other countries should be ignored as the ICJ has outlined anyone suppliying weapons and financies are complicit in war crimes as these countries are. The countries could be China, India Turkey, Eygpt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Germany etc.

  2. Notice how the court isn't ordering Israel to ramp up humanitarian efforts, but instead is giving military orders that perfectly coincide with the interests of a terrorist regime hiding in tunnels behind children like it's 1945…

  4. I see everyone in the comments is falling for this again. Here's a reminder, these rulings mean nothing, they can't enforce them, and they're not going to stop. A week from now there'll be a video saying they're not abiding by the rulings. See you then.

  5. Israel claims to be a Jewish State which means it is their responsibility to uphold the laws of the Torah. Since it is breaking the Laws and Commandments the ICJ must enforce the highest of courts instituted by God.
ICC is the top global authority. instituted by God.
    Romans 13…
    Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Arrests to be made immediately and a stop to the occupation!

  6. Praise God! Praise God! "Reprove a wise man and he will love you. But if you reprove a fool you will only get insults for yourself." Proverbs. Let's see which of these kinds of men the Israeli government is. ♾

  7. What Israel is doing in Gaza and Rafah is nothing short of criminality. Even if the Court has "no enforcement" provision, it is clear to the entire world, particularly to the enablers of genocide (USA, UK) , that these rulings are extremely serious. The countries that represent the rules-based order (USA,UK) are not above the law and cannot wriggle out of major international court rulings. Israel, as an occupying power, has no automatic right to "defend itself" – as the aggressor on Palestinian land. If Israel's Rafah operation was valid, either to eliminate Hamas or rescue the hostages, then the Court would not have ruled for its immediate cessation. This is highly significant and testimony to the fact that the world has clearly moved on from the barbarism and acute racism of the 19th Century colonial mindset. The USA/UK governments will soon find that embracing a colonial mindset, through the tacit support of Israel in post-racial times, is the very definition of retrogression. It is seeking to revive colonialism in a world that today rejects it completely and wholeheartedly.
