S African is unmatched. They are vibrant. Congo used to lead with zaiko in the 80s. It’s sad Cameroon is now an imitation of everything. Look at how bikutsi is now danced in Cameroon is sad. They dress like it’s hip hop! Cameroon has lost its culture. Artist are singing more like Nigerians. However artists have starting to draft away from that Nigerian influence and have sth unique which is why they sing in English, French, Pidgin and dialect. A perfect example is Petit Pays.
