Don’t confuse Special forces with Intelligence Agencies. If a country has too many ongoing problems, it means their national Intelligence is bad; National Intelligence agencies’ job is to protect a country from the shadow against all enemies, foreign and domestic. So, there’s no way Nigeria or Congo intelligence agencies would be better than Rwanda’s Intelligence Services or Tanzania’s Usalama Wa Taifa, considering just a few years ago, Rwanda intelligence made South African Intelligence look like amateurs. And Eritrean Intelligence is far above Ethiopia’s. The reason why Ethiopia had hard time defeating Eritrea despite being 10 times more powerful was because of the Eritrean Intelligence.
