I lived in Ghana and have property in 2 other African countries.
I was a gold miner in Ghana but it's so difficult to do business with all the regulations and requirements. It takes 3 yrs to get a surface mining liscence.
To get your legally mined gold out of the country is almost impossible.
PMMC is a very corrupt foreign company that has total control of the gold of the poor surface mining workers. They control the price and the shipping.
If you get 1oz of your gold shipped out to your destination through PMMC consider it a miracle. Who would ever blame them for stealing your gold. They do it to discourage people from buying from the poor miners.
It's a pity how much control the foreigners have over that country's riches.
I'm sure such greed doesn't stop in Ghana. The government is in the pocket of foreign interventionism.
Now they are requiring land owners to survey their historical lands at $1000 an acre. Knowing the people can't afford to pay. It's a legal way to steal the continent.
My best friend owns 5sq miles of gold land. He needs 17,000 to survey it and another 20K for a geological report to even mine his own land. The Chinese are offering him 10k plus the survey cost.
14 yrs he's been struggling to save his ancestorial land and now this survey will probably cause him to lose it anyway.
Its criminal the way Africa is treated and looked down on as if it's their fault. They need serious honest investors to help them get pass the hurdles and into the deep mining liscence industry.
This threat is a threat to the whole black race. It's their motherland, and their lost history.
The homeless race that wouldn't defend their own original land. Black and proud became empty words. Our true history is more valuable than the riches and that truth too, will forever be lost.

You need to do a research please, South Africa has the biggest reserves in the world for: Gold +Uranium, PGM(Rhodium, palladium, and platinum) , Manganese Chrome, Vermiculite. We have more coal than any other Africans countries, we do have some copper, diamonds, nickel, iron ore, magnetite,
This makes me soooooooo SAD that all these countries have all these resources especially Congo yet the people are in dire straits! My people we have to do our part come together and find SOLUTIONS!!! Everyone else is milking Mama Afrika while her children go HUNGRY!

It's a shame that Congo (Kinshasa) is so undeveloped and most of the population aren't reaping the benefits of the natural resources. My parents were born in this country (I have relatives living there) so I always get quite sad thinking about the current state of the country.
