And we don't even need to do all that this time to preserve democracy. All that is needed is to keep up arms supplies and sanctions, and eventually Russia can't keep going and Ukraine will win. It's pocket money in the grand scheme of things, and yet people still question whether support for Ukraine should continue.
We only joined the war in Europe during WWII because Germany declared war against us. Had nothing to do with "the right thing to do."
Too bad Tom couldn't answer the question, although respectifully so; I think it wouldn't have been an appropriate backdrop in which to do so. However; we desperately need respected people 'of rational thought' to weigh in. A Trump presidency would be perilous for the nation and the world at this time. As disappointed as I am that Biden's has not recognized his age as an optics problem (btw, a reminder Trump is merely a couple years younger) I'd take Biden at even 10% capacity over the narcassistic moron. Some have compared Trump to Hitler, though I think the analogy is flawed. While Hitler was an intelligent sociopath; by contrast Trump has the intelligence of a 3rd grader. Regardless, wether sociapath or just narcissistic bafoon; the real danger is when a mass of people lack the basic intelligence and morality to recognise such personaility types and follow like a herd of sheep.
In this election, given the age and mental state of both candidates; I would have thought the important focus SHOULD be on the running mates (more important now than ever!).

I used to have respect for Christians Amanpour unfortunately she’s another leftist ideologue with an agenda and not a journalist. Saying ridiculous things like “we’re in a fight for a life” because Putins in Ukraine. I don’t care about Ukraine and I think most Americans agree I pray for them in their conflict but it is not an existential crisis for the USA. I’d say half the country wanting to fundamentally destroy and change the constitution is a much bigger issue.
