I was fit into the gr2 with metore x f3. May try out other shafts with similar profile. Any suggestions?
Itβs not a carbon top/crown, itβs made of polymer which is plastic

Would;Le love to see how the GT4 goes with the weights. Swapped around . Saw an interesting review when it ended up between a GT2 and GT3 in numbers especially if you like the. Small head
Just got fitted into this⦠best driver on the market no question
I love the βfairβ test comparions. However! It would fun to see Mikey optimize a TSR3 and optimized GT3 for someone other than Ian, then do the head to head.
Robinson Amy Thomas Lisa Harris Edward
What a great swing!
Why is it that when weight is is put more forward on the titleist GT wood it launches higher than older versions with weight back…when we were told by Callaway the opposite. Epic speed had weight forward and launch lower and less spin than epic max fairway wood which had weight back? Just when I think I have it …weight back, high launch and forgiveness…I don't
If you want to lower your scores work on your short game!!! You canβt win by longer drives!!! 75% of practice needs to be 50 yards and inβ¦ all the tech in the world wonβt make you better!
Can't wait to try the GT2 13.5!!
Maybe a nice driver, but other reviewers are finding virtually no difference between this and the TSR series itβs splitting hairs. The price is absolutely insanity, itβs great to promote a new product but when the vast majority canβt afford it as in Canada with taxes, itβs almost $1000, they have jacked up $100 over the last years TSR model that is nothing but greed and stupidity. I hope people leave these drivers sitting on the rack.
I'd love to see a head-to-head with recent "winners" in the same format. Maybe the GT vs. the top 2 in a mini matchup. I'd also like to see how they perform with truly off-center hits. Your off-center hits are only millimeters off. Try 1" off center and see how they perform for those of us with truly inconsistent ball striking!
No performance difference at all between new and old. Titleist just changed a few things up so theyβd have opportunity to market another overpriced driver
Great looking but the big brand prices are insane. Here in the auk the driver is Β£579 and the fairway woods Β£ 379. Anyway looking at various sites these two clubs take you to Β£930 and at Β£190 per iron and Β£179 Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron Β£450 , you will need Β£3000 .
Great review though.
Another 30+ min review of clubs without one single shot of the club behind the ball, or at all really.
These clubs seem to be really good, but only for the player that really hit them as good as the guys on this channel. πππ
Speaking of 10k, another channel did the G400Max vs G430 10k as previously requested and they found the 400 did better overall. Different result than you expected
Holy ball speed, Batman!
Tried the low spin version. It is a bomber and very forgiving. They are not carbon itβs a polymer that Titleist has a propriety patent for golf, incredibly light, so they can play with the weighting. Folk that moan its expensive, these are hand finished which comes expensive. They do look incredible, i went to Titliest and they are understandably proud of what they have achieved
GT3 RS and GT4 RS coming soon….
If the straight to consumer brands start making it into fitting bays at even 25 percent less in price the big brands are in trouble. I had to view my iron fitting this year as a five year investment just to justify it. I would gladly pay 25 percent less for fitted Kirklands
I think there is something in Mikey's comments around 13.5 GT2 vs 15 Stealth 3W.
Polymer top not carbon
The GT2 fairway woods look exactly like the old Callaway XR 14 fairway woods. Just sayingβ¦ with advanced materials π
Love the video, thank you as always for sharing the product with us!
Questionβ¦ so I golf pretty much everyday (I live across the street from a muni course) so Iβm either shooting 9 holes or at minimum going to the practice chipping/short game area (100 yards and in)..
Iβve been super confident with almost all my clubs besides 3 and 4 irons so I just donβt use them atm. Iβve been pretty happy with everything, I know Iβm not a pro so I donβt expect crazy results but this past few days I feel like I lost my swing, as if Iβm forgetting something and I canβt hit the ball for the life of me.. rarely will I get a shot that feels like clean contact..
Should I take a couple days away and reset from golfing or what could it be? I can hit driver and 3 wood alright, but my iron and wedge games completely took a face dive. Either hosel rockets/shanks/topping it or no divots high flyers is what Iβm getting. Before this past week I can say atleast 65-75 percent of my shots I feel great about, clean contact, nice divots, consistent yardages.. and the bad hits were still better then what Iβm getting now itβs driving me absolutely insane
meh. another average titleist product at best
More than enough drivers on the market for players who find it a challenge to locate the middle of the club face. Give the rest of us a Ball Speed Beast!!
It's interesting that most R&D teams worked on MOI to help with forgiveness while Team Titleist seems to be working on the ball change that's looming. NGL, I've been in a Titleist driver since 917 so I'm bias but advantage Titleist IMHO…assuming guys can keep the 3 on the planet.
is it just me or is the height from both drivers a little lower than in the past?
Driver checks all the boxes. But eeeesh, the price is just too much.
Went to the Titleist fitting in East Lothian for a TSR driver , came away with some specs for order , went to Titleist fitting center in Gleneagles for GT fitting , guess what , 1 yard of carry difference and basically the same specs although the shaft is now different and more expensive as it has a + sign sticker on it .
So no titleist im not spending Β£795 , ive spent Β£215 on the club that is a yard shorter . Ex demo .
Lot of money for an extra yard and a different head cover π
I think the GT is the best feeling driver I have ever hit
one thing's for sure. titleist is still spending the most money on marketing.
Unless You can hit a different iron into the green Keep what you have. JUST A THOUGHT !!!
I hope Titliest have fixed the coating durability issue, ie the paint work scratches and marks very easily, compared to other makes. Cobra coatings are great.
