I stayed with family and came back with half my $1200 after a month.
Tips: No white shoes or socks (they'll be full of red clay-like dust), If you get sick go to the "American" hospital/clinic. It's where the U.S. consulate sends ppl for medical testing. Pack PEPTO BISMOL 💯. Pack toilet paper and baby wipes to keep in your purse. Nigeria is not that heel 👠friendly, wedges OK. Lots of walking on uneven road. Tuck your passport away- that's the last thing you want to lose or get stolen. Crossbody bags are better when out and about.
You are so lovely. I am always happy to see African Americans speaking positively about Africa. Especially, educated African Americans.
Congratulations and good luck!
My nigerian man is a muslim who i think is a scammer. He wants marriage in Nigeria but want me to pay for marriage and apartment want to come to America. He said he will work 2 jobs. He claims hes a stainch Muslim having doubts help
I love you intro… it’s so beautiful… what is that song…
How hard is it going be for me as an American WHITE woman in Nigeria?… I really love your posts… you are a lovely smart woman… I wish I could take you with me…☺️
I will be going to Nigeria next month, I believe that I am prepared, the only thing that gives me concern is when you said the officials are expecting money. How much is enough, are you obligated to give them money? What is the best way to be ahead of that behavior? Please any help is appreciated
How did you meet your Nigerian husband? How can one travel to Nigeria 🇳🇬 and actually be safe. Terrified to travel with wrong group of people to such a Place. Safety is best
Hey Tracy, you don’t have other story to tell apart from Nigeria matters???We re fed up of ur boring stories
Thank you so much! Yes I would love to hear more tips#subscribed
Nice video 🇳🇬👍
I'm older and am being pursued heavily by a much younger Nigerian man. He is VERY persistent. 30 days in, I am starting to like him. I've been so fed up American men for so long that it's difficult to trust that he isn't too good to be true. He's building a business here and as usual sends money home as well as taking care of his mom and his sister, who are here.
He says he is divorced ed and says all the "things"- gives me money, takes me out and checks in daily. I'm just having trust issues because it's no way for me to find out if he is lying about being divorced.
Wow, You know our stuffs
Thank you for the tips Tracy. I'd love to hear more. I'm planning a trip to Lagos is September to visit my boyfriend of 1 1/2years. I'm so excited! My friends and family are all worried about me but I feel totally safe with him.
I was supposed to be going to Nigeria to visit in-laws this year but not now due to Corona 🙁
When they scam you do you give them money(the police)?
You know a lot about us sis. Thanks.
Thank u so much for this information!! I will be going to Nigeria this year and I can’t wait!! I look forward to hearing and seeing more of your videos.
Thank you for putting out valid information. I just returned home from Lagos after being there for 2 months. The information you are giving is wonderful. I work in the healthcare field. So of course, I can be a lil anal about all the health precautions. My fiancee had a friend who's wife traveled without malaria meds.As you know the mosquitoes are horrible and they carry malaria. I was so scared for her. Thank God I took enough meds to share. Nigeria is awesome. So full of culture and beautiful history. People who are interested in traveling need to be informed. I have been several times and we travel to several cities. I am blessed my fiancee family and friends always welcome me and I am safe. It is definitely important to understand that as an American you are a target for some. Thanks so much for what you do. Please continue to share your experience with us.
Gm great video. Thank you
Sister I agree, I've had the opportunity to travel to nigeria twice. 🇳🇬
I just read the article on adding Nigeria to the travel ban .This could have an huge impact on traveling there😮
You are SO RIGHT….Just open year HEART and Nigeria will reward you
Thank You For Your Inspirational YouTube Channel: Blessings !!!
Thanks my friend, love your stories interesting
Great tips!!! Please take plenty of your own personal feminine items skin care items laundry detergent etc On my first trip to Nigeria I didn't quite know what to expect so unfortunately due to the uneven pavement of the road I ruined a good pair of heels lesson learned😢😂 During my trips I took a budget of about $1,500 and I came back with 900 of it.i i planned everything down to the penny. I'm an exhibitionist so I love to experience new things shopping, dining, etc. I do advise you to wear light clothing because its very hot I also advise you to be up to date on your immunizations even though I had all of my immunizations except for yellow fever I had no problem entering the country. The CDC website states that they advise you to get a yellow fever vaccination if you are coming from a country who has a high risk of it except for United States so this is a personal choice. I did contact the embassy to let them know that I was entering the country just for safety reasons even though my husband and his family took very good care of me but just like any other place it's always conscious to be smart and make wise decisions but have fun because Nigeria is a beautiful place to discover and learn about so enjoy yourself and live love and laugh😘 I cant wait to experience more of Naija when i return in June
Good job our wife. God bless you and your family
…as always, you never cease to impress with your videos. So much wisdom in what you say.
Thank you so much! For all you share. I have plans to travel to Abdjia Ivory Coast. This year. This is what I was wanting to email you about. I couldn't locate your email. Just needing know my steps. And who to contact.
I agree with you on all of your recommendations. However, the consulate I found to be utterly disorganized. Nobody writes or even bother to call you back. I agree get the yellow fever shot. I'm here right now and I would say entering the airport be prepared to be hustled as an American. I love Bukka Hut for food on Victoria Island. And if you're planning on getting married as I did yesterday be prepared to spend a lot of money. But overall, I recommend visiting. It's not as bad as people make it seems. Hell their Shoprite is even more fancy than the ones in the US. However, you have to be mindful that this is a country of poverty. But there is beauty. Loving my experience and I must say being here with my husband I love how he is such a take charge person.
Girl we got hit up for bribes so much. I paid THOUSANDS of Naira in bribe.
Lovely video with good advice for Americans. Watching from Dubai. Peace, Love and light.
Girl i brought packages and packages of wet wipes and STILL ran out. I went with $300 but stayed with family. It was tight but i did it.
Thanks for your tips 💕
If you’re looking for a way around the yellow fever 🥵 vaccine is tell your dr you have an egg allergy. They may not treat you and write you a yellow fever vaccine exemption certificate.
