  1. Bro.. everything you complained of in this video is 100% true.
Those Ghanaians buying those expensive properties are all corrupt Government officials. They steal the nation Ghana's money to purchase those houses, money normally allocated for Governmental projects like building of new roads, hospitals, Government schools, new ambulances…beware 😮😮

  2. PLEASE GIVE US ENCOURAGING MESSAGES STOP CONTINUE POST DISCOURAGING CLIPS, LOOK EVERY COUNTRY HAVE IT'S OWN PROBLEMS, IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORDS DON'T BUY PERIOD !!

  3. No wonder these diasporas want dollar to a cedi to be $1 to GHS 20. Ghana isn't a cottage anymore my friend.

You want to own an apartment at Cantoment, Accra as an ordinary person, and does this happen in Manhattan, New York? Stop this backward thinking!

  4. It’s true that this is a major concern and should be for both those trying to climb the economic ladder in Ghana.
Considering the data and even history, this how unrest happens…not to mention housing bubbles

  5. Stolen looted money is whist is fuelling this thing. For example it is alleged that the maid of Cecelia Dapaah stole 1 Million Dollars – That can buy at least 8 studio apartments – it is alleged that Ms Dapaah also had 48 million Ghana cedis stashed at home. How many apartment do you think that could buy?? My point is that this is a small time minister now former minister with this cash – imagine what the big boys in this corrupt NPP administration have got in their houses and in their water tanks. Also we know of corrupt officials at the ports who are charging US dollars to clear goods — Are we living in the US to charge in USD , This is day light robbery!! So these guys, or rather criminal racquet going on at the ports charging USD , we know not all of this money goes to the government!! so this means that some o these greedy, corrupt officials are siphoning off these monies and are building an buying massive houses in Airport, Ridge, Labone, Cantonments, East Legon etc. Plus we knew criminals like NAM1 using investors money ie MENZGOLD to enrich himself and has properties at Trasacco!! So Ghanaians wake UP!! these wicked politicians on all sides and their cronies are taking you for fools!!

  6. They sit in Europe and America and think Ghanaians don't have money. The fact that u couldn't make it in Ghana doesn't mean others are not making it. You wash plates in America and u think you are rich when u come to Ghana
    .sia 😂😂😂

  7. Sounds to me like this guy is incapable of genuine achievements in Ghana so he’s just jealous and baffled that someone is out earning him living in the 3rd world.

  8. Ghanaians abroad are fed up of land guard crap in Ghana, so we are either buying outright or building. My brother stop complaining on social media about Ghana. You know very well that the Average Ghanaians are not buying those houses, stop it. If you do your your research you will also realized that there are a lot of foreigners in the country as we speak. African American have and still repatriating to Ghana since the year of return in 2019 even European and American whites and most celebrities are purchasing those houses in those prime areas in Ghana this is not a secret. Your Average Ghana has never been the same since the year of return so wake up. I live in states and know a number of Ghanaians who have purchased a piece of those paradise because they can and they should.

  9. What he should analysis in the first place is to know how many people are working as recognised salary workers in Ghana as compare to the western countries and Ghana like most African countries with their natural wealth having farms and trading with high benefits which is not recognised or making show up of it to the envie eyes.that’s why the word poverty must be redefined western countries living on credit and African building their houses in cash without mortgage but they are still calling us poor Africans.

  10. This is a common mistake regarding the wealth in Africa. The west measured African wealth according to westernised standard. However, across Africa there are hidden wealth most often not taxed or visible or recorded due to Africans' survival instinct vis a vis the broken system. Westerners including black people like him from the west can't see beyond the stereotype. Africans may not know much about western financial system but they know and control another form of finance outside western sphere.

  11. Did he find an average Ghanaian owning a house in any of the areas he is talking about?
What is the average time to recoup real estate investment in the US or anywhere? He is being ridiculous about his expectations. The average American doesn’t own a house in Manhattan. Normalize all factors before making comparison.

  13. This guy paaa! After taking a mortgage, how long does it take you to own a house outright in the United States? Sometimes some of us complain about things in Ghana as if it is better abroad. You come back home complaining about bad roads and, unstable power supply forgetting that having those things on the same standard as the states comes with huge costs. Trust me, if Ghana was as developed as America, it would be as boring because you'll have fewer "wow" experiences and you won't even want to return. Ghana is gradually developing so be expecting these things to be pricey. As to how they are affording them, you should also be asking how billionaires in America are making ridiculous amounts of money in America while others make minimum wages.

  14. He's quite narrow minded in his thought process around this.

What he hasn't accounted for is that many Ghanaians, both returning diasporans and those that never left, have multiple streams of income that compound over time and create a surplus, this is because the general cost of living is relatively low; the profits are then re-invested into more secure investments such as property, which then generates rental income to support our lifestyles.

The reason this may be hard to comprehend, is that in the West most people have one source of income in societies that have a relatively high cost of living, which they supplement with credit facilities. Therefore being able to build a surplus can be quite difficult. When it comes to property investment, most Westerners also supplement this with credit – in the form of a mortgage (which is reliant on the earning capacity of the borrower). This makes it confounding to think that someone living and earning in Ghana could possibly afford what they as Westeners cannot afford.

I'm from both sides of the coin, so can genuinely see the difference between living in the West and living back home in Ghana – all I can say is – come back home and sow fruits that you can reap and enjoy.

  15. Backwards thinking on full display. There are countless failed real estate ventures across the world. Italians don't blame Italians, Gremans don't blame Germans… This is peak victim mindset, wrapped in ignorance and self hate

  16. It’s also a western problem. I can’t afford a property in London despite earning is GBP. It’s not just a developing countries problem. Most developers in the UK are not British. High end properties in London are also brought by foreigners (Chinese and previously Russians before they were sanctioned).

It’s a huge problem regardless of the country.

  17. You are absolutely right. Ghana is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Most of those living affluent lives in Ghana are THIEVES. They steal monies from the state . Monies which should have benefited all Ghanaians.

  18. I disagree with him. There r a lot of Ghanaian businesse doing so well here n abroad example import n exporters. Most Ghanaians in diaspora r are also purchasing a lot of those houses. If do ur research well u wld find out that government workers do not own such homes
