  1. I know that non vegans love using this example to "prove" veganism is unhealthy. Although she ate very healthy food, she obviously didn't get enough calories to be healthy. It's easy to get all the nutrients you need on a whole food plant based diet, except B12. Even meat eaters can have B12 deficiencies. Everyone, vegan or not, should take B12 supplements. My B12 gummies are so delicious, I love eating them.

  2. I’ve helped to detransition a few vegans back to eating proper high quality animal protein (bison, elk, free range eggs, etc) and the health benefits are of course real, and not delusional. Veganism is in most cases a response to suffering, without the knowledge that food is a proactive endeavor – meaning that you do need to know biology & how your gut works, or you’ll be at the mercy of poisonous food products and dangerous cult behaviors. Nutrition takes some work, and a willingness to concede that all life lives off of killing another life.

  3. from the stories she only ate fruit she didn’t incorporate the vegan lifestyle to balance out what she ate…She definitely was tiny from these pics she looks badly undernourished ….GOD bless her Rip…

  4. There was something more sinister about the death of this woman, because no one simply dies from eating just fruit. Remember, that was the intended diet God planned for mankind until we messed up..

  5. Veganism is starvation, period. Humans aren't herbivorous who can get most of their nutrients from plants. Most vegans quit after a year of a totally deficient diet and those who claim to be vegan for years they usually cheat now and then with eggs, fish and cheese but they won't admit it.

  6. That's so sad. I'm sorry she had an underlying disorder that took her out. Looks like she used fruit to act like she was eating but was covering up her mental state by not eating nearly enough. I'm vegan and wish i went sooner, I'm starting to cut out processed foods and focus on the right levels of nutrition for my body and i cannot tell you how incredible veganism is. You have to learn it for yourself and do it right, not using it to mask an eating disorder. Rest in peace, friend and to everyone else, watch Dominion. It'll change you forever.

  7. Friends also say she hadn't drank any water in six years. Either extreme is bad. Don't you know of people who have died from eating only meat, no vegetables, who have heart attacks and strokes?

  8. She’s probably a Raw Vegan. There is a big difference between being a Raw vegan and a regular vegan. Vegans eat cooked food (grains, rice, potatoes). A lot of vegans are overweight. This lady diet was different, so a vegan diet alone wasn’t the cause. I know you’re saying it was an eating disorder but it also sounds like depression which contributes to loss of appetite.

  9. I don't eat meat from cows or pig but I eat a variety of fruits and salmon and fish. With nuts. And I take daily supplements. Most days I eat beans and lentils. I eat kosher as well, or study good food paring to avoid silver overload and promote better digestion. Don't avoid carbs but rather simple carbs and get active regularly. Best option. Also get sunlight each day, at least 20 mins or less than that.
