I just want a board with a knob that lets me map the knob to scrolling 😢
No knobs on keyboards. If you want a knob on your keyboard you probably haven’t built enough yet
Lmao, I don’t know if that board ever was fully produced. Y’all might have a prototype
The knob is nice… when it works. I have a problem with my Razer keyboard volume knob that like to control the volume on its own. I know it’s the knob because I have to punch it to stop freaking turn my volume from 0-100
I was the fastest in my institute… I learned my typing in a typewriter…. I once had typing speed of 120 Words Per Minute… in a computer keyboard…. ( TVS Gold keyboard, to be exact, the coolest keyboard for me, then… )….
fun fact : those who learned typing properly, they know english alphabets in backwards z to a without any hiccups… am i right, guys / gals….?
Umm I do I like the easy volume up and volume down and tap to mute
"intense typing" 😂
I use my knob 40-50 times a day
Marques's expression says it all. 💯
Get those 2 dudes separate mics
So what is special about it, other than being a one off? Looks just like a generic somewhat custom KB
that plastic is gonna crack and yellow in like 6 months.
esp when you have all that sunlight hitting on your desk.
looks cool but from personal experience, just get an alu one.
The way Ellis lost it when he heard the price was hilarious 😂😂😂
If it's a custom board, I prefer having a knob. It's not necessary, but it's definitely nice to have, and it will do nothing but change my volume and mute. If it's a OEM board, I don't need a knob. An Apple magic keyboard, a Logitech office keyboard, and a mid-range Corsair keyboard will ALL have visible volume keys SOMEWHERE. It might be alternate functions on the F keys or it might be a separate cluster in the corner, but it'll be there. Even Keychron's keycap sets put their default alternate functions on the caps so that you don't have to remember a custom mapping every time. However, on custom boards, you can buy every keycap in a GMK set and you're unlikely to get something that you can then use as the visual reminder for volume unless you use a novelty or something. On my custom boards with a knob, I know I can just turn it. Could I just remember what my mapping is? Sure. But the knob just makes that part easier.
Well..Brits watching this might get a chuckle or 5.
this is soooo cool, I just wish it wasn’t so much pricy
Do not let your woman come into the room more than halfway through the video.
People want knobs. I want knoooooobs. Bet they dont use their knobs. That sounds nice! It feels really nice!
I have Ellis’ same opinion but for people that like mint chocolate. Y’all don’t really like mint chocolate fr. Think about what you’re eating
$1600 keyboard, you just think about what you want to type and it types it for you 😅 also it's not German made, it's designed in Germany and made in China. Beautiful keyboard but very expensive.
Yeah, I never use mine. Sometimes I forgot that I even have extra buttons on my keyboard.
I loved knobs until I accidentally spilled water over the keyboard and the knob was going crazy with the volume control. I had to disable it on razor synapse lmao
didn’t know Alice produced the waveform podcast
who's using auto captions for these shorts LMAO
The moment you get to use a specialized keyboard it’s kinda hard to go back to ordinary cheap membrane keyboard it’s like a blessing and a curse
I think people would gobble up some knobs
