Cool
This looks soo nice🤤
Most Ethiopians typically eat bread and Tea (chai) for breakfast. Nothing fancy
I’m Ethiopian and I have been eating full since birth. Fava beans is a legume that countries in Mediterranean and Red Sea area have traded and each area has made it it’s own style of cooking. We are all connected through these ancient trades occurring between the ancient empires.
Been asking my Eritrean ex and her mom for years what is in berbere. Finally I know
so what are your feelings on buying premade barbere? It's avail on Amazon, as well as some other sources. Obviously, most people (well, Americans anyway) aren't gonna make the spice blend themselves.
Looks delicious! I hope to see more of Chef Eden Gebre Egziabher's recipes!
Does anyone know if miss Eden Egziabher also has her own channel?
No meat? Are you crazy?
Ethiopian muslim tribes, are the ones that introduced those dishes to Ethiopia via their relationship with the adal sultatanate hundreds of years ago.
A major reason for the ethiopian diaspora was bc of the religious genocide of Hararis and Oromos (predominantly muslim tribes).
The lady in this vid is an amharic, the Christian tribe and the group who perpetuated those genocide via Haile Selassie. I'm not saying she holds those negative beliefs, it's just weird seeing her make that.
In Colombia we love fava beans! They're delicious 🤤
