I get unsubscribed more often from this channel than any other! What a danger this man must be!
Billy carson said its no point in having knowledge n can't use it. Thomas Sowell i agree is a mastermind but please tell me what educational institutions has Thomas created in America???
he describing nations as peoples, the indigenous were possibly wiped out or enslaved in England opposed to Scotland
The Roman model of Empire, integrating different people and then granting them citizenship, was later replicated by Spain in America, from the US Southwest to Patagonia. The British and French model of colonization was radically different. Profit before culture or religion.
Would love to see him visit Africa to chat to his black brothers …..like a really really blind date…..zero connection.
Was he a sell out to the white western establishment…..or did he believe the stuff he endorsed so energetically?
I think Thomas Sowell, at this point in his life was a one trick pony and the victim of the Western World's classical educational system.
The fruit of Colonisation….Corruption!
The Great Black Hope
Oh. That doesn't fit the modern narrative… đŽ
When the European powers controlled China. it became desperately poor. They were driven out in the 1930s and 1940s and China has now grown to have the second biggest economy in the world and the world's leading manufacturer.
While true, I think the American way of fostering representative government and free trade is even better – even defeated enemies. Itâs not easy and sometimes it fails or is poorly done like in Afghanistan, but is better than the imperial conquest approach. The contrast between North and South Korea is a good example of this methodâs success.
I have a pretty unique outlook!! From DNA and Genealogy I have learned I have a Grand Mother [MOM's] who was born on the Chickasaw Reservation in Oklahoma in the 1880's [I am 75] and on my Mom's Fathers side a lone survivor of an Indian Massacre at Jamestown in 1643! I see "colonization" from both sides! MY VIEW??? If my Mom's Father's ancestors had not come here, we might be still making beads, slaughtering other Tribes [THEY wared a LOT!!!] and worshipping "Nature!" Thank GOD!!! for the colonists!
If you drive a Toyota in Africa that only requires the usual servicing and no repairs, do not emigrate to some "developed" country. You'll not enjoy a lifestyle upgrade. You're already in the top 4% in a country like Kenya. Be warned.
Just so weâre clear the most capitalistic place in the world is the Congo
As an historian with a PhD in Imperial and Colonial History, I can tell you that he is simply factually wrong. His assertion that Scotland was economically and socially behind England, for example, is demonstrably false. Scotland comprises less than 1 percent of the world's population but has produced the winners of 33 percent of all Nobel Prizes for science and economics. Scotland at the time he is calling it backward was, in easily verifiable fact, the world leader in the advancement of science and medicine.
What a clown
Being an economist, he definitely knows the economical philosophy of the day was mercantilism, so every thing in this video mendacious propaganda.
I think Haiti should therefore THANK GOD France and the Americans saved it and made it more prosperous!! Thank you Jesus!! What a plonker.
Heâs not on that fancy list because the media doesnât idolize him as much as the buffoons they put on there, he should be proud heâs not being compared to those clowns
This should be the most important person of color of the 20th century in the United States.
You are a bug – San-Ti
Those Iraqis today might not thank America, but in a couple of thousand years…
0:35 it isnât that he thinks thatâĻ that IS how wealth is created.
There is no arguing that if youâre reasonable. Forgive me for poisoning the well here but some things are undeniable in light of the evidence.
