Dogged persistence and French charm got you that place, man.. A night out shivering in the bush, wrapped up in your rain gear would have been the end of your tour.
Yves… people who get too close for comfort.. SOLUTION… I zip tied a short chain tube to the back of my seat (with a slight bend that acts to grip) then i got a short flagpole and mounted a flag on the side of traffic.. i got a reflective orange/neon green flag pushes the cars out.. They use to buzz me all the time. Now they give me more than 4 feet of clearance..The flag indicates that you are wide.. When they approach they think you are a thin bicycle, until they are on top of you.. This may have saved my life..

Anyway, it's hard for you to put a road sign like "30" in a trading centre and you guarantee it will be respected! Your will count many speeding-accidents at the end of the year and worst of all, the road sign will be sold in scrap metal by locals! Sadly EA people need something they feel on their flesh in order to react! And so the nasty bumps!
