  1. comparing our bautiful city with that morrocan awful city is unacceptable.
About the architecture, it's Tunisian architecture with arabic influence, not african architecture. You saw that in Africa?

  2. Peace be upon u, Chris. You have become famous in Tunisia thanks to ur spontaneity, ur adaptation to people here, and ur love for Tunisians. Honestly, ur videos are realistic and touch the Tunisian social depth. I am hosting u in my home for free in the southwest of Tunisia, which the guests do not know, and this is a small part of my religious duty. Welcome to ur beautiful country, Tunisia.😊😊

  3. Weicome to Tunisia. Please do not call Bombalino , Tunisian Churro. Also , it should be eaten while it's still very warm.
Sidi Bou Said is private residential area. It's an elite area, lots if wealthy people live here and some have holiday homes here. Also some foreign officials stationed on Tunisia, live here. La Ville Bleu is a restaurant.
In the summer season, of course , it's crowded with both tourists and local Tunisians. Of course , you will pay higher prices here. In the winter season, business is slow. My relatives were here in Jan 2023, you practically have the place for yourselves .
I am a retired US citizen living in Tunisia for two years now, I love it.
Thank you very much for visiting and promoting Tunisia.

  4. Greece obtained permission from Tunisia in the seventies for a license to adopt architecture and use the same Tunisian colors, blue and white …. welcome to tunisia ♥️ 🥰🇹🇳🇺🇸

  5. 150 USD by night not too bad? And how a tunisian people will rent one house if you paye this? It's like I go in USA and pays 3000 USD by night and in my video I tell "not to bad" hehe you think really that will be easy to rent for a american people if many stupids paye this?

  6. Not friendly tourists . I wont visit this village. Honestly, i do not feel safe around those tourists , they colonise countries and then feel entitled to visit as home

  7. Sidi Bousaid with its authentic colors is centuries old , it is the real Deal , it's sad that people keep calling it Santorini of Tunisia or now the other place in Morocco..Sidi Bousaid is the First of its kind .and you can find these colors in older neighborhoods all over the country.
Every tourisry place you know about that adopted this blue and white color is a copy of sidi Bousaid. All of them

  8. Do you really think Tunisians will be pleased if you compare ‘Sid Bou Said’ to another town or country. The answer is no, and it is a big disrespect.

Do your flipping research before saying this kind of things. Tunisia is very old with over 3000 years of civilisation in term of statehood. It means that Tunisia it was/still a Sate/Kingdom/Empire with a head of state and governing bodies for over 3000 years continuous.

Our latest and newest capital 'Tunis' is 800 years continuous as a capital (since the 12th century/Capital of the Hafsids and ever since)). The city of Tunis itself is as old as Carthage and Utica.

Other oldest capitals such as Carthage, Kairouan and Mahdia were capitals of empires and large states.

We do not resemble others. Others resemble us.

We do not copy other’s heritage. Others copy us.

We are a proud nation. Yes, we are kind and welcoming, but no body disrespect us.

I know a lot of you ‘Americans, North Europeans, South Americans, and some Asians’ really think Greece, Italy or Spain are a great and cool ‘thing’ but not for us ‘Tunisians’.

Us 'Tunisians', we consider them (Italy, Greece, and Spain) an ordinary countries (Nothing special about them) and we do not like to be compared with nothing, especially them.

Fun fact: We ‘Tunisians’ participated and created some of these countries heritage, especially ‘Southern Italy’ and 'Southern Spain’. Research Carthage, Aghlabids, Moors/Moriscos and Siculo-Arabic/Tunisian influence and impact and you will discover the truth yourself.

We are the originals not the copies. We are the creators not the products.

  9. I’m so happy I found your videos ! I ended up binging all of them ! You inspired me to learn more about the places you’ve visited. Thanks so much for all your uploads 🙂 great content for those of us who have yet to explore – safe travels

  10. it is sad to say but all over the world if you are a tourist they will make you pay a lot more for almost everything , still there good ppl who will only charge you the original price , glad you enjoyed our amazing Tunisia ! i miss myself i haven't visited home in over two years now.

  11. Really nice to have you visit Tunisia. I hope you enjoyed your time. I know there are many similarities between tunisia and Morocco, but Sidi Bousaid is a village with a long history and which has inspired Santorini with the color patterns, but Chefchaouen was painted around 2010, it's just a blue city, comparison doesn't stand 😂

  12. You cannot compare Sidi Bou Said to Chefchaouen in Morocco. Sidi Bou Said has a history and heritage of more than three thousand years, and every corner of it tells a tale and an ancient historical story, in addition to its strategic location on top of the mountain overlooking the sea and the Café Delice, about which the french artist Patrick bruel sang the song café de Delice, while Chefchaouen is just… Alleys newly painted blue.
