Black Culture is on the decline, and has been for the last ten years, but not for what Candice is saying, it's because of the Internet/ social media, every generation of black culture had it's darker side, it's just that we departmentalized the culture.it was easier back in the day because there were limited opportunities and venues for certain art.
The consequences of decadence and hedonism affect all cultures. It does seem to be happening at an especially high rate in the black community. ☹️
It’s sad as an outsider, to see the black community still in disarray about racial, social and economic topics angrily blaming everyone else and meanwhile Indian, Hispanic and Asian newcomers are hitting the ground running conquering and becoming home owners, business owners and leaders.
I’m a nobody and it’s a complicated topic but a lot of the race stuff seems to be more about culture and content of character than about race. I think a good many folks just want to get along.
Before I say what I'm about to say, full disclosure, I grew up in Nap Town, grew up with tons of black family and friends that I consider family. The black people we grew up watching were people like Morgan Freeman, Eddie Murphy, Tupac. Black people who worked hard to achieve their dreams and gave us quality entertainment that didn't focus on victim culture and fear mongering, I am truly blessed that we didn't have to watch this new nasty ass shit
