  1. You are so articulate, i appreciate the effort you put in makimg these videos. As a foreigner, looking to invest in property in the island i really found this helpful. Will definitely reach out for more information on Airbnb rentals.

  2. Weyni dear sister, your kind spirit and your strong mind are amazing, not to mention you are breathtaking. You are sharing a lot of information that those of us of the diaspora are definitely listening loud and clear peace and love sisterβœŒπŸ½πŸ‘‘

  3. She dislikes white people but straightens her hair to make herself look exactly one πŸ™„. Most Ethiopians are refreshingly not racist. Leave it to a diaspora girl to bring her toxic racist/feminist baggage back with her. β€œRest in power!” πŸ˜… Lots of incorrect info in this video too… SMH

  4. Thanks for the informative video, Property is complex and an evolving beast in Africa, due to lack of proper regulatory framework especially within Lands Registry in Nairobi or Mombasa for example even though you might own property outright it is easily lost by corruption at the the registries, I think the ZNZ model is probably better at least the locals are upfront and honest about what rights a foreigner can get !

  5. Weyeni you have no idea how much I love the way you speak and explain issues however one idea come to my mind let me ask you one thing if i got merried with some one from zanzebar how could the investment going??

  6. Thanks for this very informative buyer be aware kinda situation. Tanzania was a communist country where the land belonged to the state. Just like it is in other countries which were erstwhile communist, transitioning into full capitalism will usually take up to 50 years or more. That said, the insight you’ve given us on matters land in Zanzibar as well as her bigger brother mainland Tanganyika, I will not touch it even with a 10 foot pole and because man is to error, I also ask for forgiveness if I ever harboured any appetite for a piece of land in those two countries. I truly repent.

  7. Very good info. Where I live in the Cayman Islands, land is a free for all i.e. no restrictions on foreign ownership. It has ultimately resulted in a lot of locals (especially young people just starting their careers) being priced out of the market. If you're a local in Cayman who owns land there, the advice is to hold on to it unless you absolutely need the liquidity. Or of course develop it if you have the means.

For context, Zanzibar is about 9 times larger than the Cayman Islands.

Great video, I learned something from it.
