Think Before You Bathe | Taryn Southern | Trip to Swaziland for The Thirst Project | Taryn Southern
There are more deaths caused each year by the water crisis than by war. A group of us went to Swaziland to see firsthand.

How much does it cost???
i got goosebumps watching this video. this is awesome <3
amazing work.
I feel like have seen this before and more than likely defended some vloggers when someone make a stupid statement about something..
And this goes to show how your own mood sets the tone of the comments.
I really dislike the video title, it's like;
Uhhmmm, you want me to feel bad for being born in a country where we actually can drink the water straight out of the tap, flush a toilet, and have a pretty much an endless supply of water to our house/apartment?!
But I do think that what you did are a great thing, it's always good to help people, no matter what.
Another heart warming story where 1st world-ers help out Africans. We're only as strong as our weakest link.
I wish I was there to experience that wonderful moment. It was so exciting!
isn't a running river a pretty good source of water?
Awesome
Can donation be done only in Dollars?
I don't understand why everyone is going on an on about how she spent her own money for a trip. So instead of going to the Caribbean for a week, she used her own money to see the well that she and the rest of the group helped raise money for. What is it of anyone's business how she spends her own money. It is ridiculous how judging some people can be, especially regarding humanitarian efforts. Everyone joins an effort that they personally believe in. You donate your time and effort into something that you would like to see improved. It is almost nigh impossible to help every cause out there, don't judge people in regards to which one they helped and why it was a bad idea. At the end of the day these people needed help. And guess what a lot of people agreed with them, and gave donations. If it was such an unworthy cause there would be no well, and nothing for people to be bitching about. Easily accessible clean drinking water should be a standard human right (considering you will die without it). Emphasis on "easily accessible", so how about everyone stop bitching about "you could have done this" "the money spent could have gone here" "they don't deserve it" because it is all just a pile of judgmental BS that don't need to be posted on a video such as this. If you don't like it fine, you have the right to your opinion, but lets all follow the first lesson we learned in kindergarten "if you do not have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself" especially regarding a humanitarian effort. –end of rant
What a FANTASTIC act of human kindness for these people !!!!!
LOOOL. i have spongebob boxers. but they used. 😮
Omg I just cried.
I don't understand how you don't have millions of subscribers by now. I heard your music on Pandora and loved all of it ever since. High quality videos and editing. I think you just may be to smart for the masses. Just kiss jenna mourey and skyrocket those views lady.
God bless you, Taryn & crew for building a well for that community. You guys were awesome!
Did you know that Swazilend is the contry with most AIDS infected people?
m/..m/
To all the people saying that they should've spent the money that was spent on the journey to Africa on new wells: she spent her own money on this, nothibg of the fund money was spent here, and the few thousand dollars that were spent on this video will bring up tens of thousands of dollars. It's basic marketing and it's the same reason that companies spend thousands of dollars on commercials
Water covers 75% of the planet, Americans "wasting" water means it runs back into the oceans.
American water doesn't come from African wells.
They need water processing plants and reverse osmosis units, not someone in NY to use 5% less water.
Using less water does absolutely nothing to help these people.
I know this is great and amazing but I feel like us in a community of thousands and thousands of people could do so much more. Like my school of 250 people built a whole building with our donations imagine what we could do
can I give myself to you for your birthday instead? you are beautiful I wish I can meet you in real life.
This was an amazing video!
i love this. <3
you're great and I wish I knew of you sooner, sigggh
The stupidest comment ever for this video is a comment made by ***** – "not be a bitch but.. couldn't they use the money it took to fly them all there to donate to build more wells? " See it the other way. The fact that Taryn Southern and her friends spent a lot of money to fly to personally interact with the local people should be very much appreciated. Such interaction could bring something more valuable than money or wells into the life of those local people. It is a strong message that "I do care".
This made me cry.
That is so sweet…!
So very, very beautiful.
This brought a tear to my eye :' ) I love u Taryn!
I kept reading Switzerland and I was like, ermm no?
I cried.. Not sure if it has to do with emotions or the flu, but still, this is amazing! And inspiring! And.. Wow! Good job! 😀
Swaziland has great weed and a lot of it!
