I was born and raised in that neighborhood and it’s always been a pilar for the people, predominantly Black. Gentrification has hit San Francisco very hard over the years. Now there’s less than 3% of Blacks left in San Francisco when it use to be 40%!! There could have been a better solution with real upgrades for security. The closing is just an excuse for rich developers and land grabs!! That place is not the hood anymore. It’s been gentrified!!

The Lizard’s Thicket restaurant in Florence SC gave employees 2 week notice and they closed last Sunday. Every time I drove by there the parking lot was full.

Well as far as Christmas presents for the kiddos, get what they NEED! Clothes and food. Christmas can get expensive. I grew up when we got what we needed. My parents didn't have debts but they were conservative. My mom and sisters did their own nails. Times have changed for the worse. I celebrate the birth of Jesus not the celebration of the gifts. Don't go into debt for Christmas that is not very smart. 🙏🕊️🇺🇲♥️

The GIGANTIC CORPORATE EMPIRE NEEDS TO GO DOWN AND IT IS ABOUT TIME.
Humanity can survive without the CORPORATIONS. We have become too dependent on Corporations for EVERYTHING. We all need to unite and work together to create our own food system for everyone in our community.
