  1. Normally, if they have another baby, even that baby will be taken too. I have had dealings with them, too. I left my 17 year old son to babysit, and he left younger siblings alone to look for his girlfriend. My children started walking in the cold, dark road to look for their brother. Someone called the police and I was called from my job. To be honest, I preferred they were found by the police and cps had to come into my life. I would rather that than my children go missing. So I was happy to deal with cps because my children were safe with me. I had another issue where the babysitter blatantly lied to me because I told her not to take my children to her house, I do not smoke, and I don't know if her family smoked. Girlfriend didn't like that decided to cook up a lie. I was so shook, but i faced them head-on and showed evidence why she lied. When I get money, I have to hire a lawyer to remove my name from their nonsense records. I pray they get back their child, but some African pastor's can be aggressive, I've never experienced that in my island country. The law can also be very unfair to families, but I see reasons why they will be involved in this case. I really hope they get back their child. One love .

  2. This is so sad. Thanks Phranklen. We need to hear this. As Africans we need to educate ourselves. Living in the west means there is laws and structure to abide by. And whats crazy if the man had not behaved like a 'protective caveman' at the door and calmly invite the police in then this would not have escalated so much. It could have died down. And come on woman why scrape the baby raw. My baby had scabby skin in the first week as she was shedding. This is natural cause they have been in water for 40 weeks! It comes off naturally, you just gotta moisturise. Africans lets educate ourselves

  3. The sad thing is children are emotional and physically harmed in foster care and group homes. Why couldn't they just check the child and give the family assistance. The absent that the child feel bring away from her family. If people were concern someone could have taken the child pastor but to report abuse and have someone's child taken away is heart breaking.

  4. It's almost impossible to fight the system when it comes to safeguarding of children. Their situation was made worse as a result of the husband violence against the police and officials. As black people, we need to learn how to modify our seemingly violence expression of our opinions when dealing with officials. It's such a shame!

  5. Now this beautiful one, will miss out on the bonding period, which is pertinent to the child’s growth. It’s imperative for the mother and child to bond, because the “Toggle Switch” (fontanels) will harden between one to six months. Praying that, this child will not suffer in the future.

  6. This is a sad story. I wonder why it has taken them so long. Usually if the parents take the parenting classes and follow all of th requests to the letter the children are sent back hom quickly. It is unfortunate that some people can't say no to traditions that are not beneficial. One youtuber did a video about a grandmother who drowned the baby trying to force feed him using some traditional way they feed children in their country. People should use their common sense sometimes.

  7. Thise officers should have made them aware of their legal rights to counseling. You can not just ask people to show up to a police station without being under arrest without legal representation.

  8. Now let's talk about the Angle of who took that video and sent to the Authorities. I can assure you it's an African like the. As a social worker I advise our people that whenever you have an issue and the police says we want to have a chat , be respectful , be remorseful and assure them it will never repeat itself. The idea of being aggressive and talking religious nonsense is a show of stupidity as a black person. Let's wise up ooooo🙄🙄

  9. So sad that in this age and time, some people's minds are still completely washed off. On the positive side though, that story about the woman on the coach made me laugh so much I was crying. You're an amazing story teller Phrankleen!

  10. and this is the problem I have with these so-called pastors and churches, especially those African churches, people need to realize that here in the west they do not play with it comes to black children! LET ME REPEAT AGAIN WHEN IT COMES TO BLACK CHILDREN THEY WILL TRY TO FIND THE TINIEST EXCUSE TO TAKE YOUR CHILD AWAY! while they happily ignore Jew, Islami, and white families.
