Madam Pauline, you are humble and honesty in my view. Your story in Mwagazis is quite inspiring and I encourage Lynn's fans to go read it before they condemn you for going to Tinder. You were justified just like anyone else to seek love in any platform that could give you a man. Today you are sitting here pretty and happy telling the world that online dating works.
I personally wish to inform you that as long as you are in public media you have to be prepared for positive and negative comments because people view things differently. But also appreciate the fact that when you tell a personal story it impacts people differently. There are those that learn lessons, those that judge and those that empathise with you. None of the three categories are wrong because they process things differently and at personal level. The best you can do is come back to mirror , look straight to yourself and have a conversation to sel- who Am I, what is my purpose in life what are my values and why did/do I go to social media space to tell my personal story to the world?. They say choices have got consequences. By choosing to let your personal life loose to the public, you also have to be prepared to face the consequences of its effect both positive and negative.
Personally, I can't say I will judge you on any of the two relationships and or circumstances of your engagement but I can use your Mzungu story to address unsuspecting women out there on the following areas;
1. Kenya has the most beautiful women in the world. Foreigners come from all over the world to have a feel of your beauties. But again in the reverse side, many think or assume they can use money to easily buy our beautiful women hence the negative stereo type that hit you live and negatively impacted on you with the police woman that asked you for 25K to help you. It has been inculcated or imbibed in the mind of locals and wazungus that a kenyan woman gets attracted to foreign dollar. It is true that we have success stories some of which have been showcased here by our very own Princess Lynn but majority still aired on that bench you are sitting are heart wrenching to say the least. Mombasa Kenya cases and statistics play worse incidences while those in the middle East are like horror movies the way whites view and treat Africans.
2. Thank God you He finally gave you a good man courtesy of Tinder. Count your blessings and move on.
3. For those listening to you who may find themselves in your situation, I urge them to exercise caution and know that not all that is "white" or West African or Congolese is money or exceptional romance. Actually many are poor useless con locals back home who come to use stereotype mentality or stolen money to lure our awesome beauties to doom. If you know you have what it takes, ask God to direct your mister right your way, locally or still from outside but that who can respect and treat you as human. Pauline's Muzungu guy was disastrous ,cheap, narcissistic and insecure dude with low self-esteem issues and if you may, suffering from inferiority complex. How I wish with all red flags abound right from the word go, Pauline could have escaped much earlier. Nonetheless, to Pauline, it is water under the bridge. She could have done better then by getting rid of that guy immediately she started seeing tell tale signs.
Ladies, be either black or white, know that you are human first and you have your values that no one no matter economic or social strata can stumble on. Never compromise your integrity and values to please any man. Never allow any man to treat you like trash-ever when you know your worthy. Always Take time to know someone deep before you introduce them to your parents. This guy was so cheap to say the least.
