I'm so sick of the US being the bad guy. We have so much to right once we get rid of these crooked, nearly-dead-of-old-age politicians
More people need to know how much it sucks to get punched in the face for being a dumbass.
Yo ho yo ho.
the kid on livestream reminds me of that one american horror stories episode with the house of content creators
I hate the decline of gaming. I have been collecting physical media in various formats since I was a kid. Being able to pick up a game and put it in the console and play, just doesn't exist anymore. My entire iTunes library has been deleted several times from moving computers or software updates, and now my iPod doesn't work at all because Apple doesn't support the software. Also PSN lost licensing to games and had to remove support and games from peoples library that they paid $60+ USD to get and that money and game are gone. This is a smart move to keep games restored and working. One of my favorite games I have ever played was released in the mid to late nineties for PC and is unplayable in the modern era due to software not supporting it anymore. I would pay full price to buy it and play it again. I think emulation and restoration is key for dead formats. Only 14% of silent film era media has survived and it is arguably more historically relevant to the future and very few people are preserving and restoring them.
Is this why LATAM countries swear by feeding their toddlers Nido Milk?!
Is every tourist going to personally visit all 130,000+ Elephants and pay a fee for each one? If the answer is not "Yes", it sounds like there is room for trophy hunting to provide more funds to keep conservation efforts going.
I feel so conflicted about the formula story. When I gave birth (both times), I literally could not produce breastmilk. I was devastated, but I am so thankful for formula. And I'm so glad I live in a time where my children could be fed without breastmilk. But toddler milk? No. I took both of my girls off of formula once they were eating full meals at 12 months. I think cow's milk is all they need.
I am tired of people saying “oh these kids we’re seeing act like trash with no consequences are just kids, take it easy on them” and then GIVING NO CONSEQUENCES. How do they think kids learn things? You have to teach them, tell them no, and let them have harsh or uncomfortable consequences if their behaviors were harsh or uncomfortable.
I had a student with behavior issues that were 100% caused by parent behavior and lack of consequences. Parents constantly tested him for more and more niche labels that he kept getting negative results for. In other classes he would throw furniture at students, give detailed threats against the lives of classmates, family members, and teachers. In my class? None of that past the first week of school. I taught him for two years. What worked? I held him to his bullshit. He threw a chair across the room and tried to hide under his desk? I tipped his desk over and said “if you get to toss furniture, you don’t get to use them to hide after.” Never did it again. He threatened someone, I reported it and called parents and then I sat him down and explained exactly what kinds of things happen to older boys and adults who say that stuff. Never again.
The parents couldn’t understand what wasn’t working at home that was at school. But when I’d explain what was working, they’d say I wasn’t following the recommended plan for (insert thing they were testing him for that he’d never get labeled) and it wouldn’t work EVEN WITH TWO YEARS OF IT WORKING. The school behaviorist couldn’t understand why I was making more ground with him. When I asked what she was doing, it essentially boiled down to “teaching him not to be guilty about his behaviors, that it’s okay as long as he goes back and makes restorative measures.” I explained that it WASNT okay, that he needs to be taught not to do it in the first place since he was in fact capable of learning that lesson, because when he’s an adult the cops won’t be checking for a behavioral plan before loading him into the back seat.
This is not just with games… I have noticed some songs and films on iTunes. Specifically the Steve Jobs movie (ironic) and Mr brooks. And music: tiki room by Lizzie McGuire (don’t judge me… or do 😊) no longer available even if purchased outright.
17:30 I’ve heard the phrase “toddler milk” so many times in this segment, all I can image is a toddler being milked like a cow, but with their snot and tears instead of milk
Americans are really the bottom people of EU
I support the stop killing games, I spent hundreds of dollars in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia over the course of 5 years and the game shut down February this year😢
The game has offline content… a story A FULL STORY that I didn’t complete… they literally added content to the game in January and then shut it down…
I wish the game just went offline and not just shut down
While its a live service game thats not quite the same i think DESTINY and DESTINY 2 Fit this really well. DESTINY 2 has sunset around half of the expansions it has released and would sunset its weapons almost every other season making it a constant struggle. A person Should not have to catch up on a games story by using youtube.
Instead of throwint our money at formula companies why dont we step in and take elephants?! We havw enough zoo's in America.
In regards to video games services getting shut down, I'm glad at how Nintendo has handled it thus far. Recently they ended service for Splatoon (well, all Wii U and 3DS games, but I'll just focus on 1 game) and while the game is highly focused around the online aspect, it is still entirely possible to play the other aspects of the game even after it ended service. It has a single player campaign, which isn't a lot, but I could easily see other companies just not even letting you start the game at all unless you're connected to their servers (which I'm getting to), so I really like that approach. Splatoon is a game series I really love, and another one I love really irritates me sometimes… genshin impact.
I hardly ever play co-op in genshin impact, and most of the game is focused on single player stuff anyways (think anime BOTW), but you HAVE to be connected to their servers in order to play any of it. Its a fully online game, and I hate that. It also means when the game inevitably dies (hopefully far in the future, but all online games die someday, case-in-point Splatoon being released 2015 and ending service 2024) nobody is going to be able to play it at ALL without some kind of modifications. Not sure what running an unofficial server like that would entail, but youd had to change SOMETHING somewhere in order to do it, that's for sure. Funnily enough, I've heard people already doing that to Splatoon, but I doubt, even with its popularity, genshin would get the same kind of treatment, or at least it wouldn't be as wide-spread.
Major props to Propublica for publishing their research about something that has been a problem for decades
Looking at the monkey story, then the elephant story, I'm legit confused how it's still considered morally reprehensible for, example, the groups in Africa who hunt and kill the illegal poachers. We agree that what's being done to these animals is fucked up… And in my personal opinion, completely unforgivable… But these governments do nothing about it, if not outright supporting it, as evidenced by these "hunting permits being issued to wealthy elites, like the CEO of Jimmie Johns. At that point, the people have to step up and protect these animals ourselves.
I’m on a journey to start looking for physical copies of my favorite movies and definitely want to get into buying CD’s. At any moment the platform you bought them on can no longer support it or shut down
My nephew bm was being told she should formula feed over breastfeed/pump at work. Now that we got her a good pump for when she’s at work and she feeds him at home, they have saved HUNDREDS of dollars. Both young teen parents, 17/18. They didn’t know any better and she didn’t kmow her work rights behind pumping.
Tbh the only people who laugh at neon, adin, jack, this little sh*t are the type of people who peaked in high school.
He spitting the true facts no one wants to hear. More more morw
Didn't the jack streamer get shot when fucking with a delivery dude in a market?
It's not the WHO, it's the W-H-O. PLEASE SAY IT RIGHT
The USA has always been an imperialist fascist police state. The US government still has actual slaves. USA has the largest slave population in the world. Google Bellamy salute.
If buying isn't ownership then piracy isn't theft.
I truthfully believe that all of these streamers who glamorize being absolute assholes are the reason why kids now a days are so disrespectful to everyone. We need to stop glorifying This shit.
About the Elephant thing…. why not just put the elephants in other places? Where elephants are supposed to be?
If Stop Killing Games want an easy in, They should tackle the EU first, The EU is cumsumer friendlier and easier to get to agree, This way you can use that weight to the rest of the world.
you should do all the extra large shows but maybe dio a deep dive on idk kittens
These gaming companies gonna have me hoarding physical copies like a boomer with dvd's
Seeing accursed farms here really made me happy, it's an issue I've noticed for a while now
Physical media will never truly go away. Owning a thing does mean something. Digital ownership is only good till it isn't.
Thank you for the news shower buddy!
Why not ship some of the elephants 🐘 to other countries globally that they endangered on .
i mean the formula thing just harbors back to that line "Your rights end where my profits begin" if that doesnt describe any 1st world government i dunno what does
Please don’t take shows away 😢
Redbar is watching
The US being the cancer of the world yet again
I'm not saying that kid should be tarred and feathered with rocks, I'm not
the topic on online only games is only much more relevant today since nintendo discontinued spotpass/streetpass on Wii U & 3DS, and the unfortunate thing about this is a TON of games on the 3ds REQUIRE it for most of the bonus content, not even the online content
This kid is going to do it to the wrong person one day.
