On today’s episode of Inspire Global, he walks us through his business journey, from selling his first bag at Ksh.37,000 to becoming the face behind what is now being termed as Africa’s…

  2. 8:50 "When you have been called by the creator to become a pioneer, you don't know where you're going". Let post here a quote along those lines, from Hakeem Belo-Osagie, a Nigerian billionaire in private equity: "When you go into war, it is like walking into fog, you cannot see very clearly precisely what there is on the other side. I love that analogy because I think that one of the key factors for success in business is you must have that mental attitude to walk boldly through the fog of uncertainty that is an inevitable part of business".

  3. JOK A JOK…..

This rings a bell in my mind. Used to use some mini bus plying Nyahururu to Nanyuki through Olpejeta years ago in the 80's . Any relationship ? He is destined to succeed.

  4. I loved this interview. Thank you Lynn for bringing phenomenal, inspiring guests on your show.

Talk about interviewing authentic African brand ambassadors, consider bringing Ciiru Waithaka of Funkidz furniture & homes, Anjiru to the show. Ciiru has provided an opportunity to many men & women to earn a decent living through making beautiful stuff using locally available materials, and not only sales them locally, but she's penetrating the global market. She is even now added value to cotton by processing it into beautiful locally made textile.

  5. Wow, I had no idea that this is what Tedd Josiah is up to these days. His music production was legendary and ahead of it's time. I've definitely heard of JokaJok though. We severely underrate what we have as Africans, yet there are many examples showing that we can be the best in the world.

  6. As an SME i totally resonate with him, there are days of self doubt, there are days you forego making your nails and hair just because you have to reinvest in business, people will judge you for being mean hardly do they understand your journey.

  7. African leaders have failed us, truth be told. They have allowed the west to manipulate the continent Congratulations JKJ, the sky is the limit .. but do I say❤❤😂

  8. I have carried Jokajok bag on travel abroad and many have stopped me to ask where they could get one like that. The recent one was when a guy from Senegal asked me on a flight, I had to open Jokajok IG page and he loved all he saw. He said he was going to make his order once we got to Nairobi. Jokajok has gone global🎉

  9. For genuine brand products his bags aren't expensive, I mean 12 k is something someone can save in 6 months and you get a genuine product, look at Louis Vutton and Chanel products , how many Kenyans/Africans can afford 800 k for a bag?

  10. The bible does not support poverty.
Job was a rich man, Abraham was rich, King David etc.
It also guides on generation wealth prverbs 13:22.
Lets not blame Christianity when lies and not truth are preached.
The colonization had its own agenda.
