I am 56 and have NEVER had skincare routine. I wash my face in am, use moisturizer, and thats it. Now i am getting concerned about aging. will this routine work for me? Also, how do you navigate switching from dayshift to nightshift? should I totally skip retinol 1 day?

The skin care is very personal, so I stay away from general recommendations. Plain baby soap works best for my complexion, which often reacts with acne to new products. Talking about affordable solution.
