IVHQ heavily explains that once you are on your trip and in country you are to contact your local director, the person they assign to your trip and anything you need IN the country you are supposed to contact that person, not IVHQ direct. I am so glad I found you! I just spent the entire afternoon looking at volunteering with IVHQ. The more I read, the more uncomfortable I became. They give a price and then as you keep reading other costs start to pop up. However, where you are going to stay, what you will actually be doing, and with whom is very sketchy. Thank you.

Hi, are there organizations you're aware of that are specifically good for providing medical aid in foreign environments? I've heard of this organization you mentioned and would like to avoid that experience. I'd like to volunteer in central or south America as well but I'm open to other foreign locations as well.
So do you recommend Maximo nivel? I actually just applied for the sea turtle trip to Costa Rica through IVHQ it would be my first solo trip out of the country so I’m a little nervous especially being a female. I just want to make sure I’m safe.
