The Tesla Robotaxi is Confusing…
The Robotaxi event was a lot. These are my thoughts, plus a test ride and some extras.

Why can't they make a swappable system like The brand nio is doing
Well Elon has the ear of the US president now
Elon has turned his back on the left leaning customers. The fall of Tesla will be hard…
The thing is: when you put a human in control, a human can be actually responsible for an accident. If the car is fully in control, the company can be responsible.
One of the biggest issues with selfdriving cars is: who should take responsibility if something happens? I believe with minimum human control, a company can take the responsibility. It would be hard though if a person could still override, because that person could actually make the mistake and we would have a dillema.
Learn to name things as they are MB. They are fake. Just as his robots, just as all his event was fake. Unsub. I don't like opportunists who are afraid to speak the truth.
Taxi coffins ⚰️
Not as confusing as your driving and cover ups
I think eVTOLs may be a disruptor to the transportation space even knocking robotaxies out of the running.
Now I'm anticipating the head shaving
The two-seater-concept of tesla cybercab and rimac verne is stupid.
Btw, the industry decided to use cyan-lights to indicate autonomous driving and where are those lights on the back?
S a Waymo with newer, smaller sensors. I’m from Phoenix AZ, not impressed with this logical progression of tech.
Well why don’t you make such an event yourself marquis?
Is that a Tiger Hoodie?
Find it mindblowing that people believe these exist or even will exist anytime before 2030, I'd even go as far as to say 2040 at best
Poor Marquez has had a falling out with Elon and now it's going to be, mostly negative reviews for them from here on out. Another YouTuber bites the dust.
I've always wanted a small 2 door like this but have the doors be the sliding kind like on mini-vans. Makes it easy to get out while parked in tight spots. They also feel secure and robust and not flimsy like the doors that wing open. Maybe I'm wrong.
I mean no one can fault this human being ( just like all the ones who came before him with thoughts alike….) for having big dreams, mans big dreams. imean if every intent he had/shares for how he sees the future could be are pure without "bad" intentions then even better. For right now these people are making their dreams reality. Even if technically theyre still in a test run/piolet phase not everything can be put onto society so quickly at once necessarily and the merge of iphones into daily life werent the same they are today, but thats a different thing.
Well, if anyone can do something amazing it is Elon Musk. He is on another level. Thanks for the video!
Rip
It's a shame the robotaxi is so slow, it won't even go 96MPH in a school zone…
If these cars actually roll out, they're getting so damn dirty 😂
Its supposed to push your mind forward. Its not going to be like the concept. This is the same as fashion shows where they have crazy stuff but you actually buy something closer to the norm. It pushes trends and expectation.
Thanks to Elon we are getting further into a future inspired by cyberpunk. After getting Neuralink cyberware and the Cybertruck, they are introducing the Delamain! What a time to be alive! 😭
Hopefully it doesn't get excited and exceed the speed in a kids zone.
You know what’s funny it wouldn’t be hard at all to give these robots human voices look at what they doing with these rappers voices even making songs posthumously
To the future.
Most future inventions were crazy n seems impossible at first.
For e.g. Telephone ☎️ airplane 🛫 light bulbs 💡 Tesla 🚗
Key takeaways:
The robots were controlled by humans.
Cyber trucks were supposed be 40 K and now they're starting at 95K
The older Tesla models might not have full self driving
The Robo van is not a new concept. It's been shown at a trade show in Vegas for years. Maybe Tesla will be the ones to really make it happen.
2027 rollout is extremely ambitious, in classic Elon fashion
Cyber cab won't have a plug-in charger, only wireless
It also won't have any way to manually override supposedly
Yes, you can watch a movie while the car is going
Unclear how they're going to meet regulations anytime soon
Scissor doors are cool but impractical
Sorry, they're not even robots. they're RC-bots
Hilarious about the robots! Such liars. I expected better, but I was wrong. None of these companies have any sense of dignity left
all for show and hence $. not for making a better world
terrible future direction, no thanks. look to areas not dominated by cars, much better way to live for me (and for most)
How do you go through the drive-thru
Seems like another poorly thought out, rushed design that engineers are being forced to release in order to please Elon’s ego. The concept of an autonomous robotaxi is cool, the execution here is hilariously awful.
What's with Tesla styling? A Hyundai Elantra looks better lol.
The way you speak makes it seem as if you’re annoyed by everything and can’t be pleased. It was unnerving 😅
Tesla is a trillion dollar grift – now with full government support. No clue how this will all unravel in the end.
Tesla can't compare to Vietnam's Vinfast electric car. Come to Vietnam and see how good electric taxis are.
the tesla van looks alot like an old parkshuttle in the Rotterdam the netherlands
Of course you need self driving so you don’t go 94 miles an hour in a school area
Surely if you (as a taxi company) are going to have to dig up a parking lot to install the wireless charging coils any way, it would be more efficient to have some kind of automatic mechanical arm rise up and physically connect to the underside of the vehicle to provide power? Far less waste of energy and an arm could have adjustments so it can compensate if the vehicle isn't 100% spot-on over the charging zone.
Ultimately, the full hands-off self-driving aspect with zero manual controls won't come to pass for a long time to come yet. Until every single vehicle on the road has full self-driving capability there's too much risk mixing self-driving with human-operated vehicles. And I really can't imagine the regulations will change any time soon to allow zero manual control overrides – not even in the next decade or two, let alone handful of years. Commercial passenger planes (like 737s etc) have technically been able to take-off, fly and land entirely autonomously for quite a long time now and yet they STILL all have manual controls and they STILL have the human pilots perform the take-offs and landings because as sophisticated as the computer systems are, they don't cope with unusual or "new" situations at all (or errors in their software which absolutely can and does happen) and will always 'give up' and expect the human to take over. Imagine if that wasn't even possible cos all the manual controls had been stripped out?!
how are you complaining? this is so crazy and the future
One of the ugliest cars ever
Who’s gonna help granny lift those bags in and out
If you have a possible override, someone will hold you responsible for an accident. Maybe it makes sense not to have that.
Looking forward to seeing him shave his head in 2027
Nice car
Imagine this is gta kind of thing and someone is literally driving you using a remote and we are thinking oh it's AI😂😂😂😂
The booooommm … check your mic and base
