It’s a feared coloured township. Many say it’s dangerous here. It’s said it harbours a lot of criminal activities, bad gangsters and all that. That’s the only side it’s known according to Media 🤷

  1. Coloureds=white and black../… Coloured also known as Khoisan .. the first nation of s.a….my grandpa is European and my grandma she us Xhosa…

  2. Perhaps your curiosity got the better of you, and you're commended for that. You 'survived' your walk through Eldo's…good you made it, you need a medal. Essentially, you achieved nothing with your walkabout except to raise more ire than questions. Imagine, either audacity, ignorance, or sheer racist disrespect when you identified 'the flats' as hostels…..did you see any zulu's living in there?
Please do not insult the communities of Coloured people; the people of mixed descent. Do your homework before you step into our streets.
Should you need help in the future, I'll be the first to guide you and protect through your little 'walk through 'the Park'. Go and live there, for a bit you'll experience life!
I commend your curiosity; take a cat with you next time.

  3. Calling black peoples coloreds is as dumb as believing that human beings evolved from monkeys. Stop calling them coloreds, the racist Boers who labeled you coloreds are long gone.

  4. You should try talking to people. I could have done this trip on google earth bro. Also, passing people on the inside lane when walking is just plain scary!

  5. Kuluds are not a homogeneous group, there is light kuluds, dark kuluds, Indian kuluds, Muslim kuluds, Christian etc. respect us and we will respect you. We easy people 😊

  6. There is nothing dangerous there. What makes it dangerous is because a particular race is group together by apartheid in a way a person may feel welcomed because of different culture. Even the colourds may feel the same in purely African dominated township. There is nothing scary just that an area have lot of children between the ages of 12 and twenty one makes cowards scary. That is youthful mood . Lot of energy.

  7. South Africa refers to people of mixed heritage as coloured. Strangely, there hasn't been a single mixed race couple walking down the street. Where do these black and white couples meet to fornicate and have "coloured" babies since everything is still so segregated? Anyway, thank you for showing us the most bastardised neighborhood in Johannesburg.
