  1. What i dont understand how African forget that carribeans are the living ancestors of the result of slave trade. Why do carribean and African not unite. Is it guilt? No one came for the ancestors or why are carribean people still lost todate , Brazil and Portuguese etc. We know where we started but African do not recognise we are the embodiment of those who suffered. Todate my family still show dna tramua in how our wrist and ankles form… alot needs to be done to find peace. I cried when my feet touched African soil. An energy swept over me. 😢i want to know my direct blood line but for us its hard. My grandparents scattered still searching for home . We never disappeared we are right here we are the living link.we are the living survivors in this jungle of the enemies land.

  2. The more and more I learn, the more I understand that the instition of slavery would not have been as successful without the help of the west African countries. My heart breaks! And I can only ask why? I will never understand. And the fact that its still happening!

  3. This one of many reasons why I can never fault the Europeans, Arabs and Asian for treated people of African Origin the way they have and continue to do because Africa has failed as a continent. I will never forget nor forgive the people who sold my ancestors into slavery. I particularly have a very strong hatred for West Africans.. Their kings and chiefs did my ancestors so wrong.

  4. I always felt that no matter what tribe you are from whether in Africa or somewhere else in the world, you’re seen as a black person(based on features/skin color). Depending on your passport you are treated good or bad in the country you live or visit.
That’s the reality of the present time.
The past decision to trade humans with other countries was a bad decision period, it is still affecting the present generation of "blacks"

  5. There were no specialist slave ships, the ships were merchant ships carrying cargo. Slaves were cargo!

As for the monuments if they were in Europe or America they would not look shabby at all.

It is the same in my Country, the useless politicians will only act if it provides good photo opportunities.

They all make me sick because they are not fit for purpose! If only we had our own Ibrahim Troare!

  6. Didn't the Arabs have a slave trade in Nigeria?

I watched a video that had a Turkish person do a DNA test, and it came up with Nigerian for some of the genetics they had
