Black people in the south were not represented by either party before civil rights, then the white supremacist Dixiecrats switched to the GQP now the bigots are in the Republican party
When they got involved in anything, drug problems, behaviour problems, violent problems & an inability to dress properly increased & American society declined vastly.
People are tired of the government primarily only serving the interests of corporate America! Only Democrats believe in funding social programs. Republicans don't believe the government should use taxpayer money to fund social services.
FREE MONEY and it has virtually destroyed the black family as it promotes no father in the home.
Democrat, Robert C Byrd, filibustered the Act that Johnson borrowed (stole) from Kennedy. Byrd, (Exhalted Cyclops) and clan recruiter, remained in the democrat party until he died in 2010. He was eulogized by Obama and Biden.
I disagree with the statement; "Johnson'sCivil Rights Acts". The majority of Democrats voted against them, and the Republican vote is what got them passed.
