@denike1617

Jesus also came to Ghana to learn Christianity!

@denike1617

I have never seen a nation so obsessed with inserting themselves into the history of another nation as much as Ghana insert themselves into Nigerians.

@emmanuelameh3017

everything started from Ghana, eii😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@emmanuelameh3017

People came to learn everything from you, yet your success rate on what you claim people learnt from you is ZERO.HOW???

@remakrealty

One of the controversies on the origin of the “Afrobeats” tag was the attempt to credit its creation to DJ Abrantee. According to the article "The Rise of Afrobeats" in The Guardian written over 12 years ago, British OAP DJ Abrantee was said to be the first person to have used the word "Afrobeats" on UK Radio in an episode of his half-hour Afrobeats Show on Choice FM However, Abrantee has denied being the originator of the “Afrobeats” tag. According to Abrantee, the "Afrobeats" tag was already in use and he only deployed it to describe his mix that promoted West African pop music.

@GodIsGrrreat

I think it is about time we Nigerians stay away from Ghanaians. GHANAIANS DO NOT WANT NIGERIANS TO WIN and hate seeing Nigerians winning. THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT MENTIONING Nigeria. This a divorce paper, please leave Nigerians alone. DO YOU GHANAIANS.

@DonSteve0147

They couldnt do a documentary of Highlife , Hiplife ,a gerne no one is dragging with them, instead they are busy complaing of Afrobeats that another country has taking global, isnt this witchkrafty ?

@DonSteve0147

I wonder what these guys would talk about afrobeat documentary , well i think their own docuymwntary would end in 1995.

@bodundefayemi7601

Late Orlando Julius is one of those that start afrobeat in nigeria which issues with fela not ghana

@sholafatai6642

Very terrible analysis. How can you teach me something you don't know yourself. Name 3 people from Ghana who were doing Afrobeats before Fela. He didn't come to learn nothing, he only went for vacation like most Nigerians do, we travel around a lot.

@afolabifatusin7211

See their lying mouth. They are not even ashamed to lie publicly. I am ashamed of the do nothing people who lach into other peoples success only to claim shamefully that they own it. I hid my face in shame for them

@cristiano-d3g7j

Such delusional lot. Pathetic!

@emmybizzz-hb9ud

Ebo tylor who worked with fela said fela was the creator of afrobeats.

Ghanians should please mention the name of the person that fela learnt afrobeats from 🤔
Please Ghanians what is the name of the Ghanian man that y'all claim he created Afrobeats 🙏

@donaldodens1451

Ghanians like to latch on to old glories, they claim to teach Fela how to do music, they claim they invented Afro beats. The nearest thing that they had was Osibissa and that band had at least 2 Nigerians. Ghana people,please start looking forward to the future, stop disruptive revisionism and distortion of facts. It does not help.
Pushing Afrobeats and playing it on your stations in London where I live does not mean you invented it. Also Ghanians should kick this fake patois influence and try some original stuff. Fela started Afro beats from his band the koola Lobitos in London, he attended Trinity college of Music Oxford and could play many instruments. Ghana was doing highlife at this time with bands like Ramblers. Fela had his own unique mix which was different from whatever existed in West Africa, please stop mutilating history. Fela spent time in Ghana mainly because of his family ties with the Nkruma family, they were family friends with the Kutis, this was how he chose to go and live there for a while, the second time was when he went on exile. Fela fused Jazz with African beats to create his genre, had absolutely nothing to do with Ghana highlife

@CloudwalkerDarkmere

what misleading title. You mean dj abratee added "s" to what Fela created

@MelodiesOfMamaAfrica

Olele should see a mental health doctor. He is suffering from a narcissitic delusions

@georgeilawagbon9255

Fela never come to Ghana, yiu ghanians should stop lying, I don't know where y'all got that useless things from? Go to your old musician, ebhor tailor, fela never learn from Ghana, afrobeat has been there for almost 40 years, anyway you guys should go sit your asses down. Liars!!! Look at them liars!!!!!

@TonyTony-wt6ui

Honestly it would be fun to see Ghanaians own documentary of AFROBEATS OR AFROBEAT PLEASE 🙏 LET HAVE IT NOT JUST TALK CAUSE THE NIGERIA OWN HAS VIDEOS BACK UP AND SHOWS! Getting my popcorn 🍿 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!!! Hold on I just realised GHANAIANS WERE FEATURED ON THE NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY AND STILL YOU GUYS THAT WAS ON PAMPERS KNOW MORE THAN DEM RIGHT 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@Kristianija

So its actually safe to say while GHANA was getting influence from around the world to better their music industry in the 90s time STOP in Nigeria, And we was in a zombie era waiting for them to get music right, We did not play or listen to the Americans to get influence direct from Americans yet we have more Nigerians in America than GHANA Fela did not bother to learn from the americas direct but decided to learn from GH cause you guys are more intelligent than we Nigerians yet you can't show nothing till this day SHAME, At this point we would like for you guys to make your own Netflix interview with regards who actually own afrobeat/afrobeats so we see ur faces forever! The government of GHANA should declare that Ghana own afrobeat with full details of how it sounds cause we all know its not anything to do with Ghana yet you guys come on ur National YouTube channel too disgrace urself everytime Shame.. MAKE YOUR OWN NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY SHOW US HOW AFROBEAT/AFROBEATS STARTED IN GHANA..

@Kristianija

How much lies can one person tell himself before he finally get cut out for it…. Propagandists GH

@cis99

As usual Ghanaians trying hard to be part of Nigerian success
Ghanaians should allow Nigeria annexe Ghana so there will be no need for their frustration and stress

@cis99

Fela went to Ghana to play shows
today these ignorants are here talking nonsense

@cis99

Fake stories by Ghanaians all the time
If Nigerian musicians visit Ghana
Ghanaians will say they came to learn music
If Ghanaian musicians visit Nigerian
Ghanaians will say they went play shows
Nigerians have been playing highlife since time immemorial
Rex Lawson was king of highlife in the 30s 40s

@temitopejohn3290

OMG….This is quite laughable….How???, Where??, when did the almighty Fela learn afrobeat from Ghana?????…..You guys are lost and quite bitter you obviously can't catch up with the Nigerian Music space….Nigerians are music lovers…Pls stop Creating this narrative, Afrobeat came from your country without any empirical evidence…Its so disgusting!!!!!Yuck!!!!

@tonyidirigbe9077

Ghanaian shouldn't change history please Baba Keke and D1 of Kenny music revolutionised and lay the foundation of Africa music by pioneering which your ticktok and other Ghanaian artist of 90s enjoyed then they took Africa to Grammy awards making connections year in year out , pushed 2face and edris abdukarim who had face off with 50cent before this wizkid generation pushed to the next level

You guys are idiots. So whenever a Nigerian visits Ghana, you claim the person came to learn. A Nigerian artist comes to Ghana to perform, the next thing we hear is that he came to learn music. Why are you deceiving yourselves. Fela studied music in UK University, the British never said he learnt music in England. He only visited Ghana, then you claim he came to learn music. Can you tell us the people that taught Fela music in Ghana?

@CodingExpress

He's talking about the American Jazz
