  1. thank you for making this video! I couldn't find the revlon blow dry brush online anywhere and didn't know why. my plug exploded 😩 I kept using it a couple more times but I started getting paranoid that i was gone get electrocuted lmao

  2. I hadn't blow-dried my hair since my big chop over a decade ago. I was honestly scared to try it. But I bought the Conair after watching this video and I've used it twice on my 4C hair. I love it!

  3. What is ur favorite brush hairdryer at the moment…? Been natural for years and havent blow dried/flat ironed it at home, until yesteray and it was a disaster! Dont want to cause damage……i didnt blow dry properly to close the cuticles so it was sk tangly at the ends. .help!!

  4. Hazard:

The recalled hot air brushes do not have an immersion protection device, posing an electrocution or shock hazard to the user if it falls into water when plugged in.
    Description:
This recall involves the BrushX Styler, Dryer & Volumizer, also called the BrushX One; and the BrushX Gen.2 hot air brushes. The brushes were sold in black and black/pink color combinations. Recalled brushes have a “not waterproof” symbol to the left of the CE mark on the rear of the brush.

  5. I enjoy how quick the Revlon brush blows out my hair but I've noticed the high setting has been getting too hot so I've just been using the low setting. But I've moved on to the pattern blow dryer. It has a brush attachment and works about the same.

  6. Side note. I never knew you had freckles! I had to do a double take on your recall video. It didnt allow comments but hadto get on here and say how beautiful you are. I love your freckles!!! Sport them more often 😊

  7. Revlon One Step UPDATE! 🗣I didn’t realize that the One Step Brush was the name of both the PADDLE & the ROUND One Step Hair Dryer & Styler 😅 Sorry guys, the recall was on the round brush, however – it was most-likely just be a specific model that is off the market since the round brush IS still sold in stores! 🙏🏾 I got scared and knew I recommended this brush and didn’t want to be the cause of anyone buying it and then getting hurt! 😭I'll be sure to go through each comment and let them know of this update as well!! XO! ❤

  8. I was using my revlon a few days ago and I saw the spark! I immediately said “NOPE” and switched to my other blow dryer. Thank you Whitney for confirming that this dryer is going in the trash! 😭

  9. How ironic, I just purchased the knot doctor recently since Conairs stuff seems to work for me and the lower price point. Glad you put this out there as I was picking between this and the Revlon one. Thanks for the affirmation! 😂

  10. This is crazy. I purchased my Revlon out a month or two ago. I purchased it on Amazon around the time that they started trending. My review to this day is like 2 stars because the paddle was always too hot.

I threw it out a couple months ago and bought the Knot Dr. Is it perfect? No. I keep pressing the button that detached the paddle. However, it's easier for me to handle and I haven't burned my hands.

    I prefer the Knot Dr.

  11. What?! I threw out my Revlon dryer a few months ago and I didn't know about this going on. Wow. 😮Thanks for sharing! I got fed up with it cause it was difficult to clean ughhh

  12. I have WITNESSED THIS! My roommate had one and one night she was using it and from the other room I heard a loud POP and she shrieked. Apparently it exploded just as she pulled it away from her hair. She was pretty shook for a while after.

I had been contemplating getting one myself but after that I said NO THANKS! 😬

  13. I’ve used the revlon brush for years recently purchased the conair knot dr and I can honestly say it isn’t that drastic of a difference it’s a good replacement

  14. Not me side eyeing my revlon brush 😳👀👀👀 I didn’t hear anything about a recall 😰 fortunately I don’t use it often, so I guess that’s why I never noticed any problems 😥

  15. The Revlon One Step blow dryer brush is still for sale online at Amazon. I bought mine at Ulta when you first reviewed it. I don't want to take to chance a fire to hair, head, body, or house. Is it the 5152 model?
